I thought that I should post here to let everyone know what is going one with my post's.
I had registered back in 1999 with the nick of "BigFree." I moved and changed ISP's. When I came to Poly to sign on, I had forgotten my password and no longer had access to the e-mail address that I had signed up with, so I couldn't get it e-mailed to me. I became a 'lurker' for quite a bit, until I couldn't stand it anymore and I registered under the nick "bigfree1" since "BigFree" was already taken ( by me  )!
I asked Dan Q if I could change my nick to "BigFree" without 'losing' anything, like ISDG forum access, post counts, personal settings, blah blah blah. He said sure. But it didn't work out that way. All of my PM's were deleted, buddy list wiped out, subscribed threads gone, locked out of ISDG (until BH came to the rescue, thanks BH!  ). So that's where it sits now. I must go on from here, there's no going back. If anyone else wants want to change their nick they'd better consider the consequences. Maybe my situation was different because I had, in effect, two accounts. I hope no one else would lose stuff like I did.
