What do i do with they..i can never take the planets with ground troops? soo i had to kill all orion planets?I wanna the technology of they ( blackhole generator, death ray ) and other richies that we get when we raise orion in Moo1 and Moo2...what can i do? espionage don't work...there is not a Orion Guardian?I the Background fiction was wrote about a New bigger Guardian working with Black and Green Fleets...oh yeah...were is that fleets? i only see independent armadas...that sucks...help me..please

I took the Orion planets with troops. It wasn't too bad. I was Raas, with ground combat penalties. 2 battleois armies did it--at least for one of the smaller worlds. BUT I learned not to invade until you've destroyed all but one Orion planet through bombardment or else you get the one-ship bug that never lets you assault a planet.

Once the NO's are blocaded you should be able to overwhelm their ground defences eventually. What I did was make transport armadas with plenty of big ships in the escort and picket rings. That way you can have 8 transport TF's in the battle and still blow away any opposition to land huge numbers of troops on the planet. You may have to do this repeatedly if the initial defence force is vast but it works because they can't reinforce as fast as you can drop another 8 TF's.

Its not impossible to take multiple NO worlds Cabbage but it is a royal pain. In my experience taking a system of four worlds there's a window every once in a while when they don't build one, provided you take out the true Orion world first. Probably easier if you bomb the others a little too but I didn't bother.
