To Japan (secret): We find your proposal regarding the canal to be acceptable, but we do ahve one objection - which si that we have no real ability to do anything about British control voer Hong Kong and Singapore beyond subversion and funding of local terrorist groups.

Other than that - the pirates can easily be dealt with, especially once we can acquire airfields on the Arabian Peninsula, and the Thai-Indonesian war should be a matter of little concern, as we can simply exploit it to sell weapons to both sides and threaten to cut the supply if they daamge our trade.

To Iran (secret): The situation with the Ottoman Republic is becoming untenable, and we may have no choice but to go to war. If you support us in that war, we will allow you control over the Islamic holy cities in Iraq and let you make the Shia areas your protectorates.

We recognise you may be unwilling to move against Hong-Kong and Singapore, but the proposed trade route will go between Thailand and Indonesia. War erupts in France, as German and Italian troops attack the already weakened French defenses.

In the Seychelles, German transport ships have landed and secured the French chain of islands.

In the Middle-East, Israel declared war on the sickly Ottoman Republic. Israeli tanks, back by one of the strongest air forces in the world, blew through the Suez Canal, disrupting ottoman trade and naval forces. With the Ottoman Navy split in two, the Israeli navy engaged the Mediterranean half, destroying it.

In South East Asia, Thailand and Indonesia erupt into armed conflict, with neither side gaining much. Disease is rampant and attrition high, but their leaders won’t budge on the issue.

African war begins! British troops roll over the outdated and outmatched middle African forces. With a brilliant battle plan, the Middle African army is almost destroyed. In the South though, South African tanks rumbled through Zaire and have reached Chad, in an effort to protect their ally.

Iran joined Israel and have captured the major cities of Mosul, Basra, and the all important oil fields.

In the Western Hemisphere, all is quiet…
