	Alternate History NES Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

Welcome to the Alternate History Storytelling NES, made by Methril (Azale).

This a my first NES, so be easy on me . It is based on a alternate history book For Want of a Nail, a book I actually haven’t found, but I have read enough of it to infer on the nations of the world and their boundaries. The book asks the question, What if the British had Won the Revolutionary War? It starts in 1972, so the era is nearly modern. As for the orders, just post them (or PM them, depending on the level of secrecy), if you don’t post within 5 days, your spot is cleared. The template is very simple:

1. To begin building an air force, you need at least a stable economy.

1. To make an army more effective, try upgrading the economy and pouring some funds into the army’s effectiveness.
2. You could also seek help from other nations.

My Japanese general council have advised me to pursue diplomatic channels. I am sending ambassabors to all the nations of the world with instructions to negotiate treaties of non-aggression. This may be a chance for lasting world peace. I will patiently await the return of my emissaries.

To Israel : We are glad that you have seen merit in our suggestions. May Japan join hands with Israel in friendship. Owing to the closed nature of our economy, and the unaligned nations filling the vast distance between our countries, we see some obstacles to trade between our nations, in friendship we receive your offer, but careful thought must be given to the moving of any items in bulk. One of our generals has expressed an interest in observing the training of your fine soldiers, would it be possible that you would allow a visit of inspection. Japan would reciprocate in kind, of course.

To Japan: We would be happy to have some of your officers come to examine our methods of training soldiers. As for trade - distance should not be a great obstacle, as long as the goods can be moved by sea. Our ports of Aquaba and Eilat should more than suffice.

To Israel (secret) : The control of the Suez canal would be a major step to opening trade with the Empire of Japan. We might be willing to underwrite as much as 25% of the costs of such an operation, provided Japanese influence could be kept secret. Some of our large and poweful navy could be assigned to protect trade route as far as the tip of India, but we cannot send our fleets as far as South Africa at the present time. (/secret)

Our General Yamosuka and his staff will arrive some time in the next few days. The Japanese Embassy will suffice for their lodgings during their stay.

To Japan: (secret) Excellent. It would be quite easy to conceal your part in paying for the operation, as we have established many hidden bank accounts for concealing such things, and it would be an easy task to funnel your money through there and into Israel.

In any case - we are now beefing up our military and beginning to take action to destabilise the Ottoman Republic, and are building up our forces on our borders. (/secret)

We shall order the IDF to prepare a tour of our training courses for when he arrives.

Upgrade the army to Large: will be done in 2 RL days.
Upgrade the economy to Booming (focussing on the military and related industries): 3 RL days.
