This is an idea I had to see if we could build up a history and mythos of folklore for our PTW world.
Since the comparison of Trip of Lux Invicta and Vlad the Impaler I thought it would make a good test subject. This is a thread for anyone to post folklore of Count Tripula or documentaries on the historical basis of the Count Tripula mythos, Trip the Impaler.
It should not matter if the histories/folklore contradict each other as they can simply be viewed as the poetic license of the writer.
Now write.

Well, you know, I was a military observer for Spain at the fall of Count Tripula's palace. Sultan Borc was seen to break into tears at the sight of thousands of impaled Arabs. He then ordered the troops to tear the city apart.
"The Sultan's army came across a field with stakes, about three kilometers long and one kilometer wide. And there were large stakes on which they could see the impaled bodies of men, women, and children, about 20,000 of them, as they said. The Sultan, in wonder, kept saying he could not conquer the country of a man who could do such terrible and unnatural things."
But he did anyway.
