With ND and GoW allying against Vox, I cannot see Vox being able to stay on this continent long. Unless they are literally out of room on their own continent, it just wouldnt be worth it for them to devote the necessary resources, even if they set off their GA.
If this thing is just a ruse, then what is ND gaining by declaring? More likely they are upset about Vox settling there. I also agee that we should just let them fight. GoW has 8 cities, ND 7. We need to catch up.

So GoW is using the war with Vox as trick to get the ND forces out of their territory to attack them. The reason that he has asked us to send the message to Darekill is to let it seem that we are going to have war with Vox too. With us both going to war, ND will almost surely mover their troops away and GoW will invade.
GoW knows all too well that they will be slain in the middle ages and want at least to secure one of the Iron mines to have Iron in the middleages.
If that is the plan, I agree that it's a masterpiece of strategy.
We should question ourselves: do we want GoW to invade ND or do we rather want to keep ND as a stable factor in this game? We can be sure of the fact that GoW will try to completely remove ND from the game as they'll fear ND will come after them with their army for Vox and invade China.
We should question ourselves if we want to share this continet with only warmongers. Is that not like having the San Tentaclus [ooc] read bomb [/ooc] under the glory of Spain?

I agree with you here, Senor Aidun.
However...I must ask...what is a bomb?
Is that like a rotting squid? If so, greatly do I fear it.
GenghisFarb must make his choice, and I do believe that so he has.
"So swiftly did Genghis surmount the Alps, his mighty soul
Great tumults pondering and the coming shock.
Now on the marge of Genghiscon, he saw,
In face most sorrowful and ghostly guise,
His trembling country's image; huge it seemed
Through mists of night obscure; and hoary hair
Streamed from the lofty front with turrets crowned:
Torn were her locks and naked were her arms.
Then thus, with broken sighs the Vision spake:
"What seek you, men of China? Where do you
Bear my standards, warriors? If by right you come,
My citizens, stay here; these are the bounds;
No further dare." But GenghisFarb's hair was stiff
With horror as he gazed, and ghastly dread
Restrained his footsteps on the further bank.
Then spake he, "O Thunderer, who from the Nasty
Chap Rock seest the walls of mighty Warmongertown;
Gods of my race who watched o'er Invicta of old;
Buddha of Latrinium, and Vestal fires,
And rites of UnOrthOdOx, carried off to heaven,
And God-like Warmongertown; favor my plan!"

As previously observed both of ND and GOW have made a point of placing their cities on hills which give a 50% terrain bonus. If GOW can drive ND's troops into the open away from their cities then GOW may have an opportunity to take those cities. Then GOW could simply hold the hill cities enjoying the fortify and terrain defense bonus while ND assaults their walls.
Not sure how likely a plan this is but it might work.

As the bard of the Voxalia wrote, the Chinese are desperate men. To lure the enemy out into the open would be to place them in the spot in which they are most vulnerable. There, the archers and warriors have a better chance of destroying the horsemen and swordsmen. It may actually work, but I think that the Chinese are desperate to survive the Ancient period, and they can't wait for gunpowder (a thing which the sybll I know...not too well, I TELL YOU!...a thing which she says will pop up sometime in the future, for something or other). They are scared of the Arabs, and they are right to be afraid, because I know, we all know, that the Arabs intend to destroy them.
