Electronics boutique has been sold out of this for some time ( one near my home ). I did actually get a copy from them after having to ask them to hold me a copy. And i have not seen any on the cheapy/return section. So not sure exactly how the whole sales thing works but it is still selling in my area.

Mark G,
I wouldn't say that at all. After all IG will want to force their retailers to sell the full game at full price as long as possible. Marking the price down this early would be a PR disaster which IG may not be willing to do.
In short, I think you may be reading too much into this.

I was able to just ditch mine on ebay for $24. Figure there is no patch to fix this turd. If Galactic Civ had custumuzable races and better combat engine. That game would be perfect. It has the nice pop up special event screens everything looks a little sharper. WHat was quicksilver thnking.

Just had a quick look around the warez sites, I can find lots of games avaliable for 'evaluation', but moo3 is NOT one of them. Even the hackers dont consider moo3 worth the effort. (That should be the most revealing detail). Im SO glad I decided to wait on moo3, I think I saved some money not buying this one at all.

WOW!
I just checked, there are currently 65 copies of moo3 for sale at ebay, most for substanicaly less than the market price.
At this point I think a few people have changed their names and moved to another country to avoid being connected with the development of this lemmon.

There are two type of selling public and pirvate, I can pay 30,000 dollar for a car at a car dealer and can turn around than sell it to my brother for 1 dollar ( the minue amount need to make than auto ownership tranfer legal) . That doesnot mean that all car are now worth 1 dollar.

81 items of moo3 for sale now, including Strategy Guides.
And selling a car to your brother is one thing, hundreds of people selling one particular brand of car for a dollar reduces the cars value to a dollar.
With these bids expiring in a few days time, and its been at least a week now, there have now been well over 100 people selling their moo3 on ebay. Count in all the people who just dumped it into the back of the game cd stack and dont plan on playing it again, id say at least a couple thousand people have given up on the game.
Just my opinion. Im entitled to it, no matter how wrong it may be.

Merchants are public seller that must follow certain law's and bussien practive's. They are in busien to make money than the cost of good's for sale is than expence which they must meet. Selling on E-Bay is privates selling between you and the person selling the good, you can sent the money and never get the good's you want.
I wouldnot buy than 30,000 dollar car for 1 dollar from than stranger as it might be than stolen car and you can get your ass in big time touble trying to prove to the police you didnot steal the car in the first place.

CharlesBHoff,
This should be basic economics, but I will desist before I make more pointed comments about missing the obvious.
Simply put, an item is worth as much as the consumer is willing to pay for it. If enough people are willing to sell (and buy) Moo III at a vastly reduced price via private sellers (such as E-Bay), then by definition, Moo III is no longer worth the full retail price.
Public sellers are also bound by contract and as you noted by laws and practices. The contract part (see my posts in response to Mark G) is keeping the public retail price up. Such influences though only mitigate and delay the fundamental law of ecomonics, however.

Don't worry about the manual, it's worthless. You're better off with player information that is posted in the forums. Try this link for starters.

How old are you younger. First did you read the E-Bay contact they are not legally bound to force the seller to give you the good after you paid for then, you must do it yourself thought than lawyer which can cost than lots try
100 to 200 dollar than hour for starter. Then it the seller is in the same state you are in then you must goto court which cost you money upfront. It the seller is in another state it get more complex as you must go to your state court to get than legal ruleing which allow you to sue him or her in her state court which court you more money in legal fee for than other lawyer and more court fee. Now it the seller is in a other nation you will have real problen as it might be inpossible to take legal action as they laws donot cover something like this.
If I buy than 30,000 dollar car from than authority GM dealer an I have proof that I paid for the car and I donot get it I can goto GM than complain about not getting the car and GM can and will take action against than GM dealer not meeting the dealer contact he or she have with GM.

Charles, this thread is not about cars, why dont you go to the cars forum to whine about cars. Your point that cars are not video games is well taken, so why are you beating this dead horse? Did a used car salesman sell you a lemmon once and now you are going to get back at him by *****ing about the sale of used cars in a games forum?
No matter how much you compare a used car to the game of moo3 there is no way you will convince anybody here that moo3 is worth $30,000.
How old are the people who post here? Well, obviously they are still young enough to have fluid blood in their veins, as compared to the dust in yours. Nothing personal, just let go of the car analogy.

Charles,
That is factored into the expense of the item, but strictly in terms of economic value, what you are saying is irrelevant.
If enough people want to buy and sell a product at less than the retailer is willing to sell it for, then the product depreciates to the price set by the Market. This is literally Econ 101....or is that too modern for you?

First I than talking about than band new car and I donot drive anyway. Plus E-Bay isnot than real auction company as they donot have what is being auction in they possession like a real one would.

Charles,
Even if what you say is true, it is still irrelevant to the value of a certain item (in this case Moo III).
