Here is an image of what W2 can see using WarpStorm's graphics mod (the one I use). As you can plainly see, CDG is only a few tiles from the western coast of our continent. The coastal tile is circled in red.

That strengthens my belief that there is alot of land south of GCA, and somewhere in it CFC is likely to be.

Given the previously known animosity between CFC and CDG & GCA, is it probable that they are trying to keep contact away from CFC (and therefore not aiming it at us really) with the intent to make eliminating CFC easier?

As it became apparent to the people present in the chatroom (me, Trip, Togas, BigFree) that CDG was trying to make an official demand asking for Wbigfree to be withdrawn back to the North, the turn has been played quickly (as described in the Turn Reports & Summaries thread) and passed on to CFC.

I'd think GCA's capitol is further away from their city we see, probably due south or close to it. They got their second city founded on turn 14, had to be by way of a Settler from a hut (their capitol maintained size 2 that turn).

Normal time for the first Warrior is 4-5 turns, second is almost always 4. Them being in the SE corner of the map (more or less) N and W being the best exploration paths for their first two. So they probably would have started 5-10 tiles S (more or less). I'd guess they started in the S Grassland belt (if it's there).

CFC is likely W about the same latitude as CGA's start. Seeing the RNG stack 4 starting locations in around half the map's height would be extremely weird on these settings.

When do you guys regularly get into the chat?

I never see discussion when I'm in there, be it 0200GMT or 1000GMT.

The chat's aren't 'regular' for now. Just when a few people show up and start talking. Mostly it's people from the FAM and some of our Ministers and Consuls. I guess the 'best' time is between 2200GMT and 0600GMT. ( I think those times correspond with 1400 PST and 2200 PST)

It does sort of remind me of the "Sea Hag" that would give Popeye trouble from time to time. At least in the profile.

Whether it could be connected to a likeness of Trip.........the jury is still out.
