	Anyone getting MoO3 for mac? Increase the size of your Attachments

How about a token poll for the mac section? Okay, here it is. Is anyone getting the mac version of MoO3? It is released today. My preorder is through Chips&Bits, so hopefully I'll get it by the weekend.

I know there are many issues w/ it, mainly the AI aggressiveness level, but QSI is addressing these in the first two patches.

I am definatly getting it myself, even though people in the Moo3 forums seems to have mixed feelings about it...

EDIT:
I've noticed a distinct difference in the kind of complaints they air about moo3 compared to the one's people had (and still have) about civ 3.
Based on what I've read, I am still determined to buy Moo3, but I never bought civ 3 (but rather ehrm, tested it for a few days before deciding not to buy it).

I doubt it. I'm angry right now with the PtW decision by Macsoft, so maybe it's coloring my feelings ... but I'm seriously considering switching to a PC and keeping my old iMac only for Civ II and occasional Web surfing.

Depends on how well the patches work, and plus with the PtW decision by Macsoft(like Gatekeeper mentioned) i may or may not buy it.

Also depends on when one of my Mac friends gets it and if it's multiplayer out of the box. If it is, then maybe, since he and I can play over lunch most days with our iBooks.

from the three "tester's" two are against it , ...

anyway , with PTW and a couple others plenty of games to fill those empty hours

I'm not familiar enough to know something is wrong. Mainly the old-timers complained aout a weak AI re: a relunctance to invade en masse. I'm basically learning as I go. The data patch came out right as I bought it, so I couldn't tell ya how it was prior. And, the code patch is currently awaiting approval by MacSoft, perhaps a week away from release. The main problem MoO3 has w/ me is my Civ3 CD.

Very good reason to reactivate win98 too Don't blame you.

Thanks for that list too... though I've already downloaded the stronghold updater... now I'm just waiting for the game.

Heh... My copy of MOO3 arrives today... wife may not let me have it until the 23rd (my birthday) but I'll have it.
