**apparently people can be killed this way - I know Superman is invulnerable to nearly all weapons, but surely if a human finger can do the trick on a human, logically, a super-finger would work on Superman**

I say make a 'taffy-bomb'. We target Superman and when it detonates, a whole mess of taffy and glue traps him in a big ole mass of gunk.

Then we launch all of our chemical and biological weapons at him.

I'm postive. There's a post-crisis, mid 90s, three issue arc called "City in A Bottle" in which, IIRC, an evil alien wants to capture the last Kryptonian to place in a bottle city he has, which contains a myriad of alien races.

I believe this was just before he turned into Superman Blue (electrical Superman).

He also goes toe-to-toe with the champion of the bottle city, a Daxamite forced to do the aliens bidding (said Daxamite also dressed in pre-Crisis Kryptonian clothing ).
