--American Update--
Roman forces sneak attacked the nation of Wsconsin, attacking from the north, northeast, and east. The Northern frot progressed according to plan, without a hitch.
The NorthEastern front faced utter catastrophe when Mowhawk braves, a warrior core thought long disbanded, swept devastation through the uniform Roman ranks with the use of guerrilla tactics and woodsmanship.
In the East the Romans fared well enough, marching forward and conquering, though not meeting up with the Quebec City army as was hoped.
The roman navy utterlydevastated it's Wisconsinese counterpart, taking command of most port citiies.
In the far west, though, the Wisconsinite ally, Oregon, forgoten y Roman military planners, made an incursion of it's own in response to the invasion.

General Houston entered Texas City, the capital of the Texan Empire, at the head of a military parade. His first order as king was to rename the capital city Houston, after himself. Despite this narcissism, Houston was a decent leader; since he came from a wealthy family, his parents were able to hire a tutor to educate him well during his youth.
Houston realized that many people had supported King Jonny. So, in order to make them content, and to honor the throne surrender agreement with King Jonny, he began the organization of the Parliament.
However, much of the government funds are going into defense. Houston, in a speech, said that "the war between our neighbors to the north has brought instability to America, so we must be cautious."
ORDERS:
- Create Parliament, changing covernment to a constitutional monarchy.
- Keep the military on guard.

All hell broke loose, Texas declared war on Rome and began marching north, in retaliation Brazil declared war on Texas and seized Jamaica. The Incas have made no official stance yet, claiming that their feelings were 'Mixed' the people of Tierra del Fuego openly admit that they do not give a damn either way.

Kingdom of Brittany established by a Druid warlord.

Semerian fleet humiliated at Trafalgar, where it attempted to make a go at the Druid supply ships.

Vikings enter the war on the Druid side, invading Normandy and facing the Levithian Vikings with a level of brutality previously unknown.

Poland enters the war on the Semerian side, taking over the Low Countries, finding that the Armored Carts work well in the warmer, flatter terrain, where they failed in the barren north.

King Houston was furious.
"Durn it, I underestimated those Brazillians. This will be the LAST time that happens."
"You did expect them to enter the war, didn't you?" said the Minister of Foreign Policy.
"Well, yes," responed Houston, his anger calming, "but I thought that would be more symbolic than anything."
"It's nothin' to worry about," said the Minister of the Armed Forces. "With a large and loyal army, and a medium navy, it shouldn't be too hard to reclaim the island and push further into Roman territory."
"And the people should be mostly behind the war, too," said the Minister of Domestic Affairs, "as the Wisconsinians and Oregonians have been long time friends of ours, and Rome a long time enemy, and us Texans don't easily forget past feelings."
"Furthermore, don't forget that since the Romans merged their nation with New Britannia, they are really part American and part European," said the Minister of Culture, Religion, and Other Related Functions, "and it has been a long time tradition of all American people to defeat anything European that tries to take our lands. Remember long ago when almost all America was united against the Druids?"
For some reason, Houston's anger was rising again. "Well, I certainly don't remember that, I'm much too young, but maybe you remember that, you old hag." And then, Houston realized he had to stop this before he killed someone. "Cabinet meeting dismissed."
