It bears noting that in the year 3247 the Greek
philosopher Socrates developed the concept of
Democracy, though the concept is limited,
incorporating a nobility and all, it is a far step
ahead. The Democratic Movement is sweeping Europe and
it's raamifications will be seen this turn.

In Egypt a new religion has entered the fray, with the
Greek religion building massive support in the
northern territories. Here is the Egyptian religious
breakdown:
Northern Egypt: (Alexandria to Libya) Greek religion
Red Sea Coast: Druid
South West Egypt: Congo Religion
North West Egypt: Semerian Religion
All the rest are Egyptian in religion and all.
This clash of loyalties have lead to an interesting
situation:
In the North the Zeus worshipping Egyptians have taken
up arms to help the invaders.
In The West the followers of the COngo religion
battle fr peace with their fellows.
In the North West the Semerian disciples manage to
remain peaceful.
On the Red Sea Druid Preists are at constant odds with
the Egyptians, but there are few battles. A renagade
group of Irishmen have landed there to help protect
the priests, but there have been no hostilities.
Followings grow.

Austrian movement crushed.

Greek fleet's forward ships crushed outside
Alexandria, seeing the futility the Admiral commanded
the ships to land elsewhere, and they took land the
mapmakers now refer to as Libya. The Democratic
movement inspires these people, and they wish for
independence to create a 'State of Liberty'.

Phoenecian republic proclaimed, the people yearn to
help their 'Brothers in the thirst for Freedom" in
Libya.

African famines over this turn. Food production
normal

Phillistenian marauders devastated Ethiopian troops in
Madagascar and in Southern Ethiopia. Pro-Ethiopian
Rebellions stall advances.

Coup in Brazil, after a bloody battle in the capitail
the Redriqhue Royal family took control and declared
that the
"ROman Influence is gone, and we are better for it's
passing"
The new Queen offers peace at present borders, with
the Brazillian army retreating half of the way from
the Inca Northern Coast

All Roman forces expelled from Brazil, they returned
home and took back a surprising amount of Land.

Congo managed to somehow advance :dunno:

Indegevians riot against the abolition of the
Republic, causing the economy to further falter.
Tibet conqured Easily though.

Hawaii divided between Urthal and Vietnam, who took
single islands and the Oregonese and Ainui, who took
two apeice. The Natives grow restless though.

Maldive revolution under way. The King's 'son' is it's
leader and it has expelled the Indegevian armies.

New Vietnamese King promises 'Revenge' to his people,
the target of the hatred is unclear.

New Etruscian Republic established and is sending aid
to the Libyans.

Semerian Republican movement crushed a few years after
it's inception, it never had very many followers and
it's passing surprised few.

With a few riots heralding it's passing the Roman
experiment in Greenland is dead.

Georgian republicans brutally slaughtered by the
Cossacks.
-
Vikings call for Republic, but the heavily
conservative government has yet to yield.
-
Poland declares a republic.
-
Congo fractures! The assorted groups, from the
'Princedom of Mali' 'The Duchy of the Atlas Mounts'
the 'Congo Proper' the 'North Zulu Princedom' among
other, more minor states have acheived a loose
Confederation, with an Emperor being elected by the
afforementioned states. All states are presently at
war with the invaders and vow not to betray each
other.

Okay, so do the Libyans want independence, or to be allowed to create a statue of Liberty?
The Greek people were getting tired of the war with the Egyptians as it was, so when the fleet was defeated, preventing the newly equipped soldiers from leaving the Greek mainland for their destination, and a third of the Council members were killed in a freak accident and the others began a power structure, the soldiers after being provoked went wild and started roaming around and attacking their own countrymen. The country quickly degenerated into complete anarchy on the peninsula, but in the border regions, a man named Socrates has been gathering his own movement of well organized and motivated citizens. He has instilled them with a sense of purpose and is putting these people’s strong work ethic to use. They have created a citizen’s army, quickly joined by some professional soldiers stationed at borderland outposts, and are setting about instilling order. They have a loose administrative force, and are advancing into the region of main conflict, where many people seem to welcome their effectiveness and high ideals. However, the conflict is by no means over as there are still opposing armies at field, seeking to gain control over the fractured Greek state.
The Greek armies in Libya and Alexandria are indecisive about the conflict at home, they’ll side with whoever the winner is. Their primary concern is the Egyptians, to whom they have sent a message.
To Egypt: We want peace.
Socratic Greece to Etruscans:
We need your help in coming out of this struggle. Our nations have always been similar, and we see that you have now set up a state with ideals almost identical to our own. Let us join to your excellent example of a government, and once this conflict is over we can govern to the benefit of all a united Greece and Etruria.

Sorry but I kind of forgot about this NES, due to all that has happened.
The Pharaoh of Egypt looked at the divided land of Egypt and knew something had to be done.
The Pharaoh adressed the people of Egypt:
"We know that foreign religions have started to spread in our lands. That many of our people are rising up and siding with foreigners in distant lands. We must stay united in the defense of our homeland. We must come togather as one to defeat our common enemies and to stay strong.
For those of other religions, I wish to make a deal with you. If you support the nation of Egypt in its time of need, we will grant that religion the freedom to pratice it with out restriction. We will make sure that you are protected and that no one hurts or harms you or gives you problems. We await the respond from the various religious leaders on this issue."
Orders:
Start teaching campaign to curve the spread of these foreign religions.
Troops are ordered to retake Alexandria, on the Libya front to hold postions and make sure the greeks do not advance.

High Lord Jason was definetly worried about the war against his ally, Egypt, and the people of the western lands. The worshipers of Chasine were as much Semerians as he was. He was determined to united the people of the desert, now to be known as the desert Sumerians. Sumeria has one of the largest and most loyal army in the world, he thought, and it is time to stress it.
Also what worried him was the growing influence of the Greek idealonist, Socrates. People being equal made the High Lord fear even his own followers. However, most of his people loved him and the Kingdom of Sumeria, but to make sure the loyalists and Republicans were to both be happy, Jason decided to set up a parliament of elected officials. These officials, consisting of 5 from Germania, 2 from Italy, 5 from Gaul, 5 from Portugal, 7 from Spain, and 9 from Semeria itself would direct Jason in domestic affairs. However, the High Lord will always have supreme command.
