Hehe, just trying to be fair. The rest of us were under the impression starting pitchers actually playing was required, lol. I didn't see much risk in your strategy, the top closers have awesome stats that equal or surpass even the best starters in 4 of the 7 categories so you effectively had 3 Randy Johnsons doing all your pitching, quite smart...and quite devious. The only risk was severly blown saves, but obviously that was a risk well worth taking.
Btw Imran, on the issue of daily roster changes, having extra pitchers on the bench and swapping them in and out of the line up to increase pitching appearances would only help wins and K's, and possibly saves, but it would hurt in 4 other categories. If I had 2 top starters and 2 above average starters, swapping them in and out with average or mediocre pitchers to increase innings pitched would also make the overall stats worse. Whip, era, k/bb, and losses would all get damaged by the less effective pitchers. But weekly roster changes won't kill us, even if someone loses a Derek Jeter to an injury on a Monday.
