Front Commanders: If you feel you will need to rushbuy an improvement or unit, please converse with the economic minister before playing your turn, that way the economic minister will be able to budget you a certain amount of money to spend. As part of your asking the minister for funding, it would be useful to mention how much gold you will make by selling off improvements. I'm not the economic minister, but it is likely that the more money you make by selling improvements, the more money you will be granted to spend.
I suggest you create a thread where you can talk about what is happening on your front and present plans and solicit opinions about what to do
Economic Minister: While the front commanders are begging for money, don't forget that the armaments minister has a HUGE area to develop and has no way to produce income like the front commanders do in selling improvements.
Armaments minister:don't forget to rehome refugees as they enter your area, you feel like an idiot if we lose dozens of refugees because the city gets taken over before we can use them. Not to mention you'll earn a one way ticket to the gulags at the same time. It might be useful to talk to the front commanders on where they want defense improvements made like barbed wire and city walls. Also, you're in charge of building tommorow's army, while it may seem like a good idea to max out city improvements early on, a drought in reinforcements could prove fatal down the line.
Everyone: If your Marshal is being a complete idiot and leading us on the road to disaster, say something! It's no secret I have only the most basic understanding of this scenario, so try and help me out a little bit.
I plan on playing on starting the scenario tonight or tommorow afternoon, get ready generals, because here come the Germans!!!
