Ok I need to know who ambassador to Where, so I can figure who need to be replaced or moved.

ND - Quantum
RP - Nimitz
GoW - ZargonX
Vox - Tiberius
Gs - Redstar1

These are our ambassadors if anyone wishes to quit our take a vacant position post here.

I am the ambassador to GoW, though their ambassador to us never responds to any of my PMs. I guess I should just start working through GF.

ND is supposed to be handled by Jack_www, but as he is seldom around, we certainly need a replacement. If you don't mind, here is an idea:

1) if quantum_mechani wouldn't mind, I suggest reassigning him from GS to ND - the reason is that most GS business is and probably will be done through chats, which are apparently less then convenient for q_m. OTOH, the ND business is done almost entirely via PMs... we would certainly benefit from having someone keeping our contact with the Germans truly active, seriously working on pulling them closer to our side (they seem to be nobody's friends, so let's try making them OUR friends).

2) assign redstar1 to Gathering Storm... he has - just as myself - developed an extreme liking for DeepO and is, I am sure, more than happy to communicate with him. Also, he has been through almost all the negotiations so far...

Just my two cents...

quantum_mechani, what do think of the idea? Would you mind trying to get ND to trade with us?

I wonder what use we have from my ambassadorship, as the communication with the Voxes seem to be handled mostly through chats, too.

If I wasn't ambassador to Vox, I'd have liked to try the ND, to polish my german knowledge Let me know if quantum doesn't want it and we don't have other candidates.

I will be quite happy to change ambassadorship, ND seems a good match if negotiations are done by PM.

I was planning to learn german over the summer anyway .

OK, then... Nimitz, would you make it official?

It seems that we could try the following setup:

GS: redstar1 + occasionally me (for chats)
ND: quantum_mechani
GoW: ZargonX + occasionally me (for chats)
Vox: Tiberius + occasionally me (for chats)
RP: Nimitz

Do not get scared by all those "+ occasionally me". It is the same principle you mentioned few posts above... other teams also like - sometimes - "going to the top". I will be most happy to do as little as possible myself - just that sometimes a few minute chat achieves more that several PMs.
