I agree, all the evidence leads to Siro's "9.99 coin" thread. What is noteworthy about "9.99" it is one 1 less than 10. The key word being 1, as in, April 1.

It's about as elaborate as the prank one of my housemates played on me today; he tied some shoes to the end of a piece of wood and propped it up against my door, so that it hit me in the gut when I opened it for the first time.

He played a number of other pranks on my other housemates, but we got our own back by putting salt in his orange juice.

Many months. Someone complained that there weren't enough European mods, that was his response. Being an admin he was a de facto OT mod anyway so it didn't really change anything.

Let me guess: In an attempt to counter the fact that people had caught onto this being a wild goose chase, the administration recruited a poster to back up what they were saying and lie that they are actually is a prank. I am going to stand by my guess that this a wild goose chase
