Well, I make 2000 posts a year- every year- and am on pace to reach 6000 by Apolyton's birthday or slightly thereafter

Thus, I should reach deity by 2005!

(and I've never gone longer than 2 weeks [that happened once] wihtout posting... and only gone w/o posting in 1 week about three/four times )

We'd have a lot more deities if OT post counts were reinstated- and Ming would probalby be at 25K by then while PH and UR would likely be deities (PH for a second time ) and probably JayBee... I'd have about 100 more... and a lot mroe people would have more posts tahn me if that hpapened- so the system works for me- since I don't post in the OT.... (then again, I would if It counted) but I nvever posted as heavily there as others...

And I've been slowing down- I used to have 7-8 PPD and now I've decreased to 5.6... although I am trying to keep it over 5... and that's why I've branched out into all the beeping civgroups

It's the only way that I can rack up the non-spam posts since the Communtiy forum has been boring recently, and I've asked all the questions I can

riiiight, because post count matters.

you do the demo games because they are fun! not because they boost your post count. At least I participate because they are fun I didn't know people cared that much.

why doesn't everyone pool together their post counts so we can all have a piece of the pie (as long as my piece is bigger than yours! )

Well if you pool together post counts and then take a proportion of the total that reflects your contribution then everyone ends up with their initial post count.
