Can you do that? I know I often have trouble looking other people straight into their eyes... I always try to look at their nose instead... this is getting really annoying... I hope people don't notices this

I always have trouble figuring out which eye I should be looking at since I can't focus on both. Sometimes if I'm uncomfortable I switch back and forth erraticly and may even go for the bridge of the nose right between the two. Now a guy with a wandering eye just freaks me out. I'm always wondering if I ignore the wandering eye and go for the other one will he find that offensive?

I didn't even notice that I didn't do any until I was looking for work and getting help with job interviews.

I have to really think about it or else I will just look generally at the person but never make eye contact.

I look in peoples eyes, sometimes so much that it makes them desperate, and hiding their eyes from me. Even when I don't mean it, people get uncomfortable very soon with that... sometimes I actually mean to make them uncomfortable, happens quicker then .

Usually I have no problem with making eye contact, except when I'm sitting down and a girl right before me is bending forward to talk to me. I'm never really sure wether I'm looking in her eyes or at her cleavage and wether she sees my eyes moving up and down causing me to feel rather uncomfortable

Sudden eye contact with strangers on the street can bother me too, if they don't look away first. Or in the train when I have nobody to talk to and I'm not sitting at the window so I have nothing to look at except other people's faces.

I also think it's rude when people refuse to make eye contact in certain cases. Especially when I say thanks or bye against a shopkeeper who just keeps looking down at the money I gave him while I KNOW he already counted it

In casual conversation or meetings, I donīt focus on the eyes, I just look in the general direction of their face. But when talking about work or somthiung serious, I make sure to stare directly into their eyes so they know I am paying attention. Nobody is ever bothered or threatened by this, they usually stare back the same way.

Sometimes I can... most of the time, actually. Other times I just feel unwieldy, it is... quite strange. I think that this happens when the other person has a quite penetrating look. You see, I don't like being penetrated.

I usually look at their eyes. It's the least unpleasant part on the vast majority of people. If they haven't got any eyes, then hey, it doesn't really matter where I look, now does it?

No problems normally. Only sometimes, when I have something else to worry about (which is not related to the person in front of me) Iīm not concentrated and/or nervous.

When I realize the other person is nervous or insecure while we have eye contact I usually try to make that person feel a bit more comfortable. Only if I think that special person is an ass - then I enjoy every second heīs feeling insecure

Where are you supposed to look while slow-dancing, are you supposed to stare into her eyes the entire time or look around the room. I know you're not supposed to look at your feet, often confused for staring at her rack.

I always just pick an eye to focus on. The thing is I'm hard-of-hearing; doing so helps me catch more of what the speaker is saying. It drowns out other sense distractions.

I tend to make eye contact but let my eyes wander occasionally lest they think I'm a psycho or something.

However, if I am mad at someone I will stare straight into their eyes until the end of time or until the confrontation is resolved.

I look out the window (if there is one) I prefer the 90 degree angle from their face ( or parallel). It drives some people nuts.

Yeah! The only problem is trying to keep track of the conversation, assuming there is one.

I was once interviewed by this women with incredibly gorgeous eyes. I couldn't stay focused on what she was saying. I just sat there nodding and saying yup, yup.
