	Opinions on Freedom Force? Suffering from ads?

I just bought this game in a 4-pack (including NFS 3: Hot Pursuit, Earth and Beyond, and a C&C games) 'cause it looked cool. I've rarely heard it mentioned on these boards and I was wondering what others thought of it?

It's a great game. I've seen it being sold for $10, and I couldn't believe my eyes, considering the crap that consistently gets shoveled out to consumers.

Tons of fun, you'll love it.

The place I'm ordering Galciv from is selling this in a pack with C&C-somethingorother and I was thinking of getting in the same order as Galciv...

Hmm...I'm just working through the SP game. Great fun, and perfectly cheesy.

Excellent fun SP game. I would recommend it to anyone with even a mild interest in the superhero genre.

I was disappointed to find recently that the main forums for it seem to be closed. I suspect this means that the publisher will not be financing further patches to help MP.

1) Blackbird: She shows up during one of the Shadow missions. She starts off with a good range weapon, can become a flier, and learns few useful status changing attacks. However she is lacking in power.

2) Iron Ox: He shows up after the Ant's origin movie, IIRC. Basically a togher, slower version of Minuteman.

3) Supercollider: He shows up during the Deja vu missions and is Freedom Forces answer to the Juggernaut and the Hulk. He does melee attacks and does them very well.

Sadly none of them come with thier own orign movie.

Do I edit the file to say that, or do I just add those three lines to the existing file:

import ff

ff.APP_ENABLE_XTRACHARS = 1

This is a great game! I haven't been playing it right (for example, I didn't know that all 4 heros could get the same canister if you move them right until level 6.) However, I'm still making steady progress through the story.
