Question. Guys, when the action starts, would we like to play our turn via chat, as is done with the demo game.

I would pass the save around to every one. We set a time for the chat. I will play the official game turns - with input from the team - and we all get to share in the immediate excitement. I will report to you in real time what the results of our various moves and attacks are.

It may mean our turn takes a bit longer - but we have tons of time. And it would be fun.

I think this is a great Idea. I would love to be share in the excitment. and If anyone misses, it's not that big on a deal because it won't be any differnet for them

I think we should at least try it to see how it goes. I was trying to think of a way for everyone to get input. Decisions made during those turns will be very important and the more input we can get the better we should do.

Time will be a problem. I am generally at work late. I can not do chats from work due to blocks in place on the gateway in and out of the company. I have not tried chatting from home.

When would people be available?

I am OK from 1800 to 2300 est. (2300 to 0400 gmt)

My schedule is just...well, weird. I check-in and post when I can find the time. So with that in mind, don't worry about me - when I check in and see a war chat going on, I'll just hop in.

I think it's a great idea and I'll try to be there whenever I can. Do we have a specific chatroom, if yes, can anyone give me details on how to get in?

I have mostly the same dispo hours as betahound...

I can't say I am a chat room specialist. Eli had made arrangements to have one set up. But that was waaaayy back at the start.

And don't worry about repeating stuff Kon. But a quick read through the threads mentioned above will provide a lot of info.

Found Eli's original mIRC thread and bumped it. We - or more specifically Eli - will need to register the new names - and delete some of the old ones.

I generally do not get home until what would be 2200 est. My peeking/posting during the day is usually done from work. On some days, if I know ahead of time, I can try to be available earlier by going/leaving work early and not going shopping afterwards. I might be available by 2000 est. On my days off and weekends I am usually flexible unless I am busy with a dog event, and then I may not be around at all.
