	Sad, I had such high hopes. Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

I learned my lesson with BOTF.
I will not buy another game without checking first what the lowdown is on the game.

I will not be buying this game due to all the negative comments I have been reading ALL OVER the net.

I am a lil confussed tho about the die hards who wish so hard that this game would work.
I have read where some will buy it even if it is a piece of junk.
Some sort of denial?


Oh well, I wonder how Harpoon 4 is going to turn out?

MOO3 is a disappointment to me. But it isnt an unplayable mess as some suggest. More than anything it needs an AI patch. After that, I will definately continue to play it. In fact, I play now. Have a pretty good game going . Some user mods have made the AI a bit more competant.

I wouldnt recommend it to you though. Not at the full price. If you see it in a bargain bin for half or 1/3 the original price, sure.

Problem with previews in this case are that so many of the previews gave the game such glowing ratings.....then at the last minute, a few bad ones hit the web. Kinda confusing, who do you believe. I usually wait for actual reviews from players once it hits the street. In this case I didnt.

Not denial, just had to see for myself. People spend 40-50 bucks all the time on stuff end up not using or liking. If I can find a good 4x TBS game, I am willing to take a shot. I bought Reach For The Stars, even thought the demo did not please me. That was about as good of a value as Rebellion and I gave them away, I did not lose sleep.
If I never play Moo3 again, I will not cry about it. I will wish it had been more to my taste and will be buying Moo4, sight unseen.
BTW BOTF was in th same class as Moo3, well actually Moo3 is better. I played BOTF twice and gave it away.
