Call me biased (but not racist) when I say that non-naturalized citizens of a "foreign" country should be scrutinized for their affiliation.

We live in a time when proactivity is replacing reactivity (which most of us are not used to) and I grudgingly support this. However, I only support this so long as international figures are allowed to visited these detained individuals to make sure that they are not grieviously mistreated.

Citizens can be terrorists too.

The terrorists that we are dealing with are just more likely to be Arabic (and/or Islamic) and racial profiling simply has a better chance of catching them.

Not my problem, because I'm neither Arabic nor Islamic, obviously.

Yeah, ask Tim McVeigh. Oh, he was arrested and charged with a crime, tried and sentenced.

Maybe you could answer what advantages are gained by indefinite detention without charges, without access to family, legal counsel, or an opportunity to demonstrate in court that the non-accused is not a flight risk?

Simple thing is that if the Department of "Justice" can wipe it's ass with the Constitution in one case, it can do so in any case.
