Are the sys requirements honost or exaggurated? Put an end to popups!

The sys requirements are set at 600mhz. Is this realistic, or exaggerated? I own Emperor Rise of the Middle Kingdom, which claims to need a 400, but runs fine (no lag) on my 266. Who here has both the game and a really poor computer?

And no "omg it goes sooo slow on my 300ghz supercomputer, it had 1 second of slowdown when i had 8,000 MS Excell screens open at the same time!" Freaks. No sissy spoiled brats here. Is the game unplayable below 600mhz?

Thanx.

Enter the AD-FREE zone

My girlfriend plays on an old Toshiba Laptop, that is only 333Mhz and 64 Mb Ram. Runs fine, bit slow on larger maps, but fine apart from that

Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

It works w/o a hitch on my'500 with up to medium galaxies, have yet to try bigger ones !

A 266 might be really low however, StarDock did state that the "real" min specs was 400 MHz.

Get a bigger avatar today!

It will highly depend on the map size you play with. This is confirmed by Brad Wardell, the guy who's giving us news from the inside (dev team) since the beginning.

The "guy" has inside info, obviously, as he is indeed CEO of Stardock AND main designer/programmer of the game !
