- Researching Warrior Code at 90%, ready in 2 turns.
- Luxury Slider at 10%
- 24 gold cash, -1 gpt.

Urgent questions:
- Do we want to improve our cave to a spiffy bungalo? We could build a nice walkway. Do we have enough spare labour to maintain a lawn?

Military:
W2 'BigFree' move 9 (Northeast). Stay away from the GCA border.
W3 'Alva' move 2 (South).
W4 'Theseus' fortified in Apolyton.
W5 'BFW' fortified in Mingapulco.
W6 'Hagbart' awaits engagement.

Economy:
Move Apolyton labourer from forest to coast.

Workers
Worker Dan chopping forest (4).

Diplomacy:
CDG: NAP in effect. Tech swap in effect; we give WC and Wheel for IW.
GCA: NAP in effect (fm Turn 29). Negotiating future tech swap.

---

Discussion and basic reporting to follow. See the topped thread for comprehensive results.

Got spare money?

MOW Orders Turn 35: 2390 BC

  • W2 'BigFree' will move 9 (Northeast). Make sure to not get adjacent to the GCA border!

  • W3 'Alva' will move 2 (South) and finish the scouting of the southern half of the eastern peninsula.

  • W6 'Hagbart' will fortify if he takes 1 HP damage, retreat to Apolyton if he takes 2 damage, or if he is at full health, he should attack a Barb Warrior if he is on a flat tile.

Suffering from ads?

I want to finish scouting the southern half of the eastern peninsula this turn. We'll turn north and follow near the coast to see the general shape of what we're looking at. For all we know, there could be another "blob" of good land above the jungle (like the one we're on).

W2 'BigFree' will probably be stuck where he is. I don't see either CDG or GCA yielding to our requests to move our Warrior through their territory. Hopefully the FA Ministry can work something out with that.

1 northern Barb down, 2 more to go. Hagbart will slay another the next turn if he's uninjured, and hopefully we can finish them off in the north before they cause any trouble.

Just an idea... unless a barb/enemy unit shows within 2 tiles from Mingapulco on this turn, it should be perfectly safe to send BigFurryWarrior to explore westwards, as the Warrior being built in Mingapulco would be finished (and able to fortify) before the barb/enemy unit could attack the city.

And another idea... unless the barbs N of Apolyton move in such a way that we get a chance to attack one of them w/o having to fear being attacked by the other one afterwards, I suggest moving Hagbart back to Apolyton. The reason is that if he can spend the next turn on MP duties in Apolyton, we will be able to put all our gold income into research and get WC 1 turn earlier (we currently need 19 beakers... we will get 9 beakers this turn and would be able to get 10 on the next one - sorry, Trip, I know you asked about this before ordering Hagbart to move North... but I realized this only when doing the summary table today).

Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

regarding WBigFree: There is no way to move past CGA without going through there territory. So he is trapped. We will need an agreement with either CGA or CDG to allow him to move through their territory.

CDG has built another short-sighted city: Zariguya 9,9,9 from OGAT2K. It gives them dyes ... otherwise jungle, hills, and coast.

Either they are very poor players or they have jungle tiles surrounding their Capitol, even inside the city radius!

Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

Their land appears to be worse than ours even. At least we have a small "belt" of grassland which we can use for a few cities, but they seem to have whatever is in their capital radius and that's it...

It may have been the lesser of many evils. Though the placement of their first city is rather bad, even if they don't have much land. It only has access to ~2 of the capital tiles anyways, and from the looks of the map, they don't appear to be good tiles either.

IIRC, CDG moved once before settling their Capitol. This would seem to indicate that the land they were given is/was less than adequate; though I do remember that we were discussing whether to move to another location as well.
