Yes. Your heard well. If I win my current game, I'm gonna ditch Moo3 until a couple of patches do something about it.

First time I played on Moderate (or what its called): WIN!
First time I played on Hard: WIN!
Currently playing (first time) on Impossible and doing very good!

First of all: Impossible is broken, it is a lot easier than hard.

Visit us at moo3mods.com for your choice of a whole collection of mods. What you want specifically is one of the AI mods - try Colin the Gray's AI mod; not a perfect fix, but the best out so far and it does give the AI some spine and make the game more challenging.

And he's right, play on hard, impossible plays with the same settings as easy....

Yeah - rumor is that there used to be a higher dif level - deity - and when they removed it they broke impossible as well.

Uhmmm. Just won yesterday. Turn 130something. No casualties at all. I had approx 1300 votes in the senate, orions 1200something and the next best civ 200!!?

PAAAAAAAAAATCH

When you get senate win the game IS done. You just have to play the last hundreds of turns to eliminate the others. After the patch AI will be harder and more aggressive so i bet the X win will be easier than the senate.

	Senate wins and the patch Put an end to popups!

Senate wins are too easy as they currently stand. One of the promises (no, that's too strong: comments) from QS in an IGMOO thread is that they hope to make senate voting strengths moddable. Then I'll be able to leave Senate Victory as a victory condition but make it much harder (say 10 or 20 times the number of votes as now).

The role Senate Victory should play (IMHO) is that it stops you having to clean up every last planet. A small cluster is managable (just) but having to conquer every planet in even a 2 arm standard galaxy takes forever and is tedious in the extreme.
