	Bet your money and guess who will be attacked by Vox Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

This poll is mainly for fun, but also to see how good Spanish nobles are analyzing international affairs. I thought we could gather at the Iberian Delight Tavern and make a bet. Everyone pays some gold (the same for every participant) and says who they think that will be attacked. Once Vox has attacked the money is used to buy ale and squid and distribute it among the winners

I will begin. I bet my gold at the GS option. This Voxians have felt oppresed by them too much time, and now they are seeking revenge.

Oh! and the people who choose "Squid" are graciously giving their gold to the winners!

In fact, I seem to recall a direct quote from BH: "Help me Togas of España, you're my only hope!" It was recorded on a strange machine that looked like a blue and white trash can with blinking lights.

A much more interesting pool would be to predict WHEN Vox attacks GS. And this would be determined by which turn War shows up in our save. My money is on 650 bc.

Boy, that would put GS one turn from having Feudalism, I think; maybe they could have it by then? I'm sure research will be boosted in every way imaginable in order for the to get it the soonest. If they get it before Vox attacks, should we attempt to get it from them, for gpt and some up front? We could just reneg on the deal afterward! We can claim they are lying when they say we had a gpt deal for tech.

Vox knows about the Terra Nostra alliance, which makes it unlikely that they attack one of the Terra Nostra nations because they know they risk total war. Neither will they attack the entire Terra Nostra alliance. To attack Legoland is only interesting if GoW is involved in a secret pact with Vox.
The attack on GS appears to be the only attack that has a chance of success.

This is the most logical reasoning with the information we have, officially or inofficially.

However, IF Vox has a secret alliance with GS (but this is speculation) and what they stated in the PTW forum is serious: to attack a nation on Terra Nostra, then is is most logical for Vox to attack GoW or, but that is less favorable for Vox, ND. For GS we are clearly the most suitable candidate to attack: we are the closest country to GS.
IF GS and Vox have an alliance, they will thus probably attack the whole Terra Nostra, with the extra problem that they get war with Lego because of the alliance we have with Lego.
This scenario would result in World War I.

Quite interesting.
