Turn completed and sent to John-SJ and Roman.
In the year 50 BC, the people welcomed a new leader, kcbob the Confused. Where were the temples that had been begun under the reign of his great, great, great, great, great, great, grandfather? The people cried out for happiness! “How long, O Lord, must we be unhappy? How long must we do without cable TV, hot tubs, and religious houses of worship?” And so it was decided to begin build caravans in anticipation of building a great wonder of which the world would stand in awe.
Three new settlers were trained and sent out into the world so the kingdom might continue to prosper and grow. And then, in the year 25 BC (how the heck did we know it was BC, anyway?), the golden age of Philosophy began in the kingdom of the Sioux. We thought, therefore we were. And with our next thought, a choice had to be made. Fish or cut bait. Engineering or Monotheism? Leonardo’s or Michelangelo’s? Did it really matter since they were both of Italian extract? Yes! It mattered! The cries of the people were heard and Monotheism was chosen! Fortunately, Engineering was hot on its heels and chosen next.
And then, in a most strange chain of events, cities were founded with nonsensical names. Great River on a plain. Seven Brothers when, in fact, there were only five brothers, one sister, and a dog from Wayside Waifs. And strangest of all, Snake Canyon. Strange? There were no snakes! Lots of frogs and lizards but no snakes! But the scribe digresses.
The great chapel by the artisan Michelangelo was begun in Killdeer, its vary own caravan beginning the glorious project. And none too soon. For with the end of kcbob’s reign, the symptons of the dreaded ICS malady began to appear. The chapel will come none too soon.
In other news this evening, the Russians have nearly completed the Great Library.

60 AD to 160 AD.
This was a quiet time in our history, no new projects were started, no scientific breakthroughs, no wars, just peaceful improvements made to infrastructure, trade routes and expansion. About the most significant event during my rule was the Russion completion of the Great Library, a happening already predicted by my predecessor, that great indian wise man, Chief kcbob.
Turn sent to Roman, cc to thoth and kcbob.

File played and sent.
After the death of King John, Roman assumed the throne. Immediatelly he decided that new cities must be built to reduce overpopulation, not realizing the Monarchy limits had been reached. This was a fatal mistake. After commisioning three new nomad groups, a new city was founded. Separated from their family members sent to colonise the virgin lands, people across the Kingdom rebelled. Our mighty treasury of 124 gold was reduced to 7, by attempting to placate the people through temple rushing. The extra temples make our economy operate at a loss, as the upkeep now exceeds income by 1 gold piece per turn. This, however, was not enough to stop the rebbelions, as they were spread across too many cities. Clowns had to be hired to preform in the cities and divert people's attention. To avoid such problems in the future, Roman instructed his political scientists (noblemen/noblewomen, lords/ladies, and such) to develop a new political system designed to appease the people. He termed it the Republic.
In the meantime our emmisaries reported that the barbaric Greeks have finished building the oracle. Our own efforts at Michelangelo's are luckily progressing well. The rebellions did not affect the building process and caravans with marble blocks and extra workers poured onto the building site.
After his 150 year attention span expired , Roman finally fell into an enchanted sleep , while siting on the throne (read "behind the computer").
