According to the civgroup list, we have 28 members, and yet I only see around 8 of us actually participating in the forum. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can bring people who so recently interested in the game, back?
List of those in the civgroup:

The good thing about RF is that as long as you kill any attackers just outside your cities with little loss's to yourself and build cheap cossacks you can survive the german onslaught. This is good for new commanders to RF. The stavka can then offer advice if a commander asks for some tips on their turn.
ie 6,000 yo why don't you take the murmansk front, you are active and in the end the game is fun whether you win or lose cities.
As for drumming up more interest well can the marshal private email all the members with the latest pravda and promotion vacencies?
I also think if we keep the game moving without any delays that it will build confidence too (see stavka thread on 3day idea)
PS I agree with you all that the first summer is a bit bland, i;m sure once we get to winter 41/42 that people will emerge as you can start doing things in the game stratergy wise.

Well, this is my first post. I'm new here in the sense that I have never posted, but I have been following this PBEM since some time. I would like to join since I enjoyed playing RF, but I have problems with the redfront.bat (it closes immediately after opening )
Nevertheless, for people not knowing the game it must be very difficult to understand, without any maps. Therefor, I humbly suggest to post more maps!
Just my opinion,
Michaël

Thanks a LOT EZRhino! It works again. Yes, I have XP, so that was probably the problem (I never had problems on my old computer where I had Windows98).
I had found a temporary solution: copy-pasting in the .bat and just leaving the necessit things, but that isn't easy at all.
Thanks,
Michaël
