for Q's 2 and 3, i took out the factions nobody would likely want to play just to save space. if your faction is missing, vote write in. Oh, and vote for 7 factions in question 3. you have 0 days

Q1: SMAX of course!
Q2: I voted on the Spartans or Consciousness. I think those can give the most interesting RP.
Q3: I didn't vote as I don't see the use of that question. When playing a pbem acdg, someone has to join an individual team/faction, and the seven factions with the most members can participate. I don't see why we can vote for the seven teams/factions we'd like to participate.

I voted:

SMAC (I don't have AX, so won't be able to play for a bit if it is that)
Peacekeepers (a Demo game with one faction, how could it be anything else)
Gaians, Hive, University, Morganites, and Believers (although forgot Write-in) Would be a good spread IMHO.

I can play SMAC and SMAX.

For a regular game, the Spartans would be quite good fun, or Deirdre.

In a team game it might be more like self selection. Quite a number of people like to play the Hive (eg Frankchan?). However if only 1 or 2 in a team faction, that faction may not be included. If 10 sign up for Pirates or the Cult then that might sway the game to SMAX. Those in non selected factions could then choose to join selected teams.

anyways, i think we should play SMAX, as probably the university morgan or the conciousness. if we have a team game, the best thing to do would be to use the regular factions, IMO

I think what we will probably need to do as far as deciding is just decide first on if it'll be team or regular... then we'll decide on the teams or factions to be in the game.

I agree with FlameFlash, and I like Herc's idea on just picking what team you want to be on (like the Parties at the begining of this DG) and then delete all but the 4 or 5 most popular (or let the AI run them).

Ah, a bit of pre-game psyche stuff. At least we won't have to worry about the Drones being at the leading edge of the tech spectrum.
