Iron Chancellor

Anyone care to start a new game? If you don't know, it is an Imperialism game starting in 1869 and going untill about 1919. The emphasis is on trade, and upon building your colonial empire at the expense of weaker countries. The playable civs are:
England-FiGu
France-JamesJKirk
Russia-Prometheus
Germany (inc. Holland, Scandinavia and the Boer republics)-MeckPomm
Japan-Prouler
USA-Iron Chancellor
and the Independents (Spain, Italy, Latin America)
The Independents are primarily in existence to be carved up as they are far weaker than anyone else, but if someone feels up to the challenge, be my guest.

Iron Chancellor, can you get this thread renamed or start a new threat with a different name because there is already a New Imperialism 1870 Game thread and it might be confusing.

Message from the White House:
As the turn for America comes so late, I would like to start everyone off with a reminder that the Monroe Doctrine still stands. The free nations of the Americas are to remain such. Any attempt to colonize free nations will be seen as a hostile act against the United States of America.
On a friendlier note, we welcome peace and trade with the other Great Powers, and hope that our nations shall grow together in peace. We especially would like to welcome our neighbors to the north in the British empire, and the new German Empire, hoping that it shall learn from the mistakes of its predecessors and choose peaceful expansion over war.

The United States of America was saddened to hear of the sudden death of President Ulysses Simpson Grant, war hero and a truly honest man, in a dastardly attack by Southern secessionists.
The attack also killed the vice-president and a number of other cabinet members.
President Grand has been suceeded by heretorfore unknown New York politician Theodore Roosevelt, who promised a strict crackdown on the traitors, and announced that America would continue to pursue her place in the sun.
Meanwhile, a number of freighters set sail for Europe and Africa filled with America raw materials, machinery, textiles, tools, and armaments.
No techs traded, no alliances made. Britain has my permission to make do on his turn.

The Russian Empire also asks the German Empire not to build a road near Warsaw.
