	Master Zen's Roleplay spy network Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

On the ISDG chat a while ago, BigFree was trying to send the RP save game to GeneralTacticus but GT had problems receiving his hotmail e-mail from BF, so BF asked if I could forward it to him to which I said yes. I received the mail and it came with a forwarded message from Togas to some of his teammates.

Whether this was intentionally sent I don't know, I honestly think BigFree slipped, some POP mail clients don't show the contents of previous forwards so perhaps he thought it wouldn't be sent with the save.

Anyways, here's the complete unedited message for you guys to see and check its authenticity:

I am thinking that it is fake.

So what purpose does it serve ?

It certainly gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling that they are connecting iron just for us. But I would of thought they would have more than 5 swords.

I suggest that they are up to no good....I just dont know what .... I will think about it for a while, and post another consiracy theory tonight maybe.

I suggest that we may also want to consider "returning" the information.
ie...tell them their messenger got lost and stumbled into our lands and promptly died. Return the email back to them.

1. This will feed them enough Roleplay for a week
2. If it is fake..it kind of shows that we did not take it serious anyway.
3. If it is true, it shows how much we value their friendship
4. It may get BigFree sentenced to death

They have 8 swords, 5 (cow valley) + 3 (somewhere else)

ND confirmed that they have horsemen sentries in the valley north of Toledo, which they plan to take out before our main force arrives through those plains.

When I forwarded the save to GenTac, I took out the message, I left it clean. This serves two purposes:


1) If BigFree did let it slip, GenTac won't know and it won't get BF into trouble, BF is a friend of mine and he's new on the RP team. Plus, if GT doesn't find out, then perhaps BF might find the need to send him another save through me and perhaps it will also contain some interesting tidbits of info.

2) If it WAS a fake, GenTac would presume that I did read it and took it out on purpose. That would make
them believe I bought the whole thing.


As I said, honestly I think it is no ruse. Before this was sent to me GT had been discussing problems with his hotmail account when receiving BF's files. Long after this was sent, he told BF to post ISDG PBEM #1 save on the forum so he could download it directly.

Also, the message isn't too revealing, it would really not force us to change any plans, but serves to get an idea of RP's strenght, which apart for those Swordsmen is probably geared towards defense. Their military budget however, can make them an even more powerful force later.

It seems GenTac has had problems receiving BF's saves since various days ago, further confirming that this is NOT a ruse. At the moment no one else was active at the chat, I was the only one BF could have used to send the file, and since it was our own save (the one we sent to them since RP is next), he probably thought there would be no problem a GoW member (me) sending what is in fact our own save.

It does make sense, but it is pretty much what we had thought their position was. I had not thought about the immense upkeep all those units would be costing them however.

Two questions:

1) Do we forward this info to ND?
We did not cheat to get it, but we were obviously not intented to see it. I think that we can use this info and even tell ND of their prediciment, but do not actually show them the text.

2) Do we tell RP that the mistake happened?
YES!!! Tell them right away! For all four reasons that HE stated, with special note on number 4!!!!!

We are having an IRC chat with ND on Friday 8pm GMT (#GoW) you are all invited. We can just tell them more or less what the text says.

First of all, even though we weren't intended to read it, it was their mistake so tough luck. If a spy drops a top secret document on the street and you look at it, it's the spy's fault. Plus, even if we tell them, they know we've seen it, and WE know we've seen it (and unless I get one of those "normalizer" things from Men In Black there's no way I'll forget..)

However, it would by funny as hell to see those roleplayers make a public trial out of BigFree, and then execute him. It would take like a month and 10 threads but you know how they are

We must share this information with ND....What it really tells us is nothing.

They are indicating that
1. They fear the 3 movement units ...so they should
2. They are not ready for an offensive war...In which case, I assume they are going to try and get us to fight their war for them.....ie tell us to make the first strike...have immediaate gains & immediate losses. And then they will march in behind and create a second front after ND has committed their forces.

I am truely going to enjoy their destruction.

What I do not understand, is why they would want to wait until after 3 movement UU's arive. Surely they would want to strike ND before then ? But they dont seem ready ???

I think they are at an impasse, they can mobilize now but their production will suffer... they can wait but then our UUs will trample them.
