	Does anybody know the name of the song... Remove this text

...that bleeds over from one line to the next? Y'know, so that the song goes something like

Da da da da da
DA
da da da da da

where the bolded DA is both the last word of the preceding line and the first word of the next line?

The only version I know of is from South Park (Wendy's Fingerbang audition), and it's too dirty for me to use.

"Da Da Da" are not actual words to the song, or at least they're not actual words to any of the songs like this that I've ever heard. They're usually dirtier, like

I have a big
****-a-doodle-doo went the rooster

or something like that. I'm trying to find a version that's cleaner, though.

Unfortunately, my French is awful.

Yeah, the problem is that I'm not sure if a clean version of such a song exists. Usually the whole point of making the song like that is to sneak in some curse words, and then say "But the song's not really dirty, 'cause rooster's really do say '****-a-doodle-doo'!" when the teacher or priest or whoever chastises you.

There are 2 songs that come to mind.

"Shaving Cream"

Every verse ends with an word begining with "sh" and rhyming with a word ending with "it". However, the "sh" carries into the chorus, the first word of which is "shaving cream". Originally writen in the 1920's, Benny Bell had a minor hit with it in '75.

Based on a "bawdy" English folk tune, it was a popular Ska song for Judge Dread.
