	The Dragincol: THEY ARE TOAST Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

I just couldn't resist gloating over it. My absolute best star system suddenly started on the "something wicked is coming..." thing and I had no clue what it was. I got paranoid and started building up massive weaponry in that sector and jumping up the morale level of the planets, hoping it might help. My fully loaded starbase, bunch of battle hammers, some star fighters and two combat transports got set for anything bad.

Sure enough, out pop the Dragincol. My nearest system starts showing the unhappy face... but I was able to move the fleet into position to SMACK THOSE EVIL SCUM!

So I lost 10 billion people doing it. At least we won, and now the star system is producing like 72 research points. Strange.

My main trade partner, the Drengin, virtually vanished two turns later. They now have one star system left, which we are about to dutifully invade. The rest joined the Fundamentalists in a single turn.... We also have had a major recession (ouch), two plagues (ouch), a nice planet that suddenly turned into a rock (ouch), escaped Belua space monsters (ouch ouch ouch)... I think these so-called random events are getting a little out of hand.

I like this game. The random events are often devastating... they are really unfair and I have to admit in a single-player game, that can be a lot of fun. If you manage to win despite the Dragincol taking over your best system, it's somehow much more exciting than if you just predictably grind everyone down.

One question: Can the Dragincol come back again?? Please tell me the answer is no... their stupid battleships killed about half of my fleet even with my maxed out military starbase in the sector. I would hate to think what would happen if I couldn't kill them in two turns like I did this time.
