	Living in an catholic family... Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

Well, its hard to grow up in a strict catholic home.
I have been raised to live life like the bible says I should.
And I think its the right way to live and that everybody
should live like that. But it aint easy. Because whenever
I visit this forum, this site popup: http://www.ape51.com

I have no idea why, it all started when you upgraded the forum
and I clicked "yes" when the computer asked me if I wanted
to have the new features installed. Have you put some sort of
popup thing into the upgrade or what?

I need help, im going crazy here, if my mom sees this site
pop up she will punish me with a stick on my bottom. And
I can tell you that I dont want to go thru that again.
I remember the time she caught me looking at the lingerie
catalog, It was not funny to sit on my chair at dinner after that.

Please help me .

I looked at ape51 and I couldn't see what the problem was.

Download AdAware (or the other more up-to-date one whos name I forget), run it, delete anything it flags as spyware.

Go to the Apolyton home page, and if you've got any parasites running in Internet Explorer, it'll flag them, and remove them as well.

Then clear out your history list, temporary internet files, and edit that link out of your post before a mod comes and does it for you.

Following question was asked by DRoseDars before he edited it out with "*Sigh*, Nevermind"

"Shi, how was it "anti-catholic"?"

He is trying to portray catholic families in a negative light, I know plenty of catholic families liberal and conservative that aren't like that-- they would not become violent because of a website pop up. I have never heard of any parent to still take to spanking their kids by the time they are old enough to use the internet.

I suppose it is possible that this really is someone from a family that uses the Catholic religion to be insane and doing stuff like inflicting severe pain for looking at a lingerie catalog. I supsect it is another DL like "Polish Patriot", a DL who posted "Having Conservative Parents Suck" and complained his conservative parents were still making him sleep in their bed. Perhaps this time the DL maker decided to tone it down a little.

I've got several gay and bisexual friends that have gone through sheer hell because of Catholic upbringing or education. Not that such occurances are restricted to Catholics by any stretch... though the absurd bigoted utterances of certain religious figures most certainly do not help any.

Shi, are you suggesting that having conservative (small "c" damnit!) parents doesn't suck? Do you have any friends who can't come clean to their parents about the sexuality in their mid-twenties because they're afraid they'd disown them? Do you know anyone who can't do the things every other teenager their age is doing because their parents disapprove? Or do you just not care?

Although conservative parents are great when it comes to rebellion! I think a lot of us who were allowed to drink early, smoke weed etc. really missed some subjects that could get tensions running in the family.
