	Any tattoos or piercings? Do you find them attractive? Support Apolyton

So, do you have any tattoos and/or body piercings, and do you find them attractive on members of the opposite sex (or same sex, if that's applicable to you)?

Personally, I have none and don't find them particularly appealing (although my girlfriend has a tattoo, but she got it before we started going out).

Tattoos are fugly on men and women.
Earings are fugly on men, occasionally look good on women (provided it's not overdone), but I don't really care or notice them on women.

I have neither, and I'll never have a tattoo or an earing.

One piercing in each ear for women is ok but more then that looks bad and it's down right freakish when people have nose, eye, or lip piercings.

I got a Tat (big one too), and I am going to get more...

I will never get a piercing... As I say, "I already got enough holes in my head"

My wife has tats, and her ears pierced. As for if I find them sexy (and not just on her), it really depends on the tat/hole and the girl... Guys with holes?

I have a friend with over 22 holes and while I don't find him or the holes attractive I don't mind looking him...

My ears are pierced once.
I have two tats, one on each ankle.
I got both of them in Hawaii, so they are special to me.
I agree that ears pierced once is sufficient anything more than 2 in each ear is too much.
Tats, if they're tasteful and expertly done.
Some I like, others make me wonder what the wearer was thinking, drinking or taking at the time.
When I got both of mine, a year apart, they wouldn't do them if I had been drinking prior to having the work done.

Ishtar: I agree with the Tat thing. It was years ago when I got mine. I went to San Fran to get mine, went up to Height Ashbury on a Sunday morning. The guy who gave it to me was covered head to two in tats and piercings. He gave me a drunk test! I picked the one I wanted and asked him how many times he has done that one... He said "once". I was like "oh, hell!" then he showed it to me, it was on his calf! The guy tatted himself! I trusted him... It came out really good, and my mom's friend thinks it is really good, and she is an artist.

I guess I should clarify that I think having each ear pierced once on a female is fine. Also, I have a small thing for women who have one ear pierced twice (but not both). I find it kinda cute.

right now i have a nose ring, that i just got redone about a month ago

two years ago, before my old job forced me to take them out i had a nose ring, lip ring, multiple earrings (either 9 or 11 i'm not positive) and i intended to get an eye brow ring...most likely i'm going to get it all redone

i love piercings on girls if tastefully done, especially the nose, lip (on either side but not in the middle), and eyebrow...i don't like nipple rings and I think that tongue rings are over done

i think i'm going to get a tatoo but i'm unsure, we'll just have to see, i once had to spend some time in jail and i watched this guy get a prison tat which was pretty cool

as far as tats on girls go, the arms are good, and so is the lower back, but i don't really like them anywhere else, plus no butterflies, tigers, pooh bears, rebel flags, skulls, most fairies, any depiction of lilith, and most especially NO CLOWNS (either evil or otherwise)

so girls stick with tribal, perferabaly right above your thong straps on your lower back

ps. though there was this one girl i knew, she had tons of tatoos, including a dagger on her neck, god I thought she was hot!!!!!!!

I agree that one in each ear is cute. Several in each ear looks kinda trailer-trashy. Body piercings are just plain repugnant. I never really saw the charm of mutilation; while tattoos aren't intrinsically ugly, I don't really see the point.

Tattoos and piercings suck.

Especially ugly are the belly rings and also the ankle tattoos. Nothing ruins a nice body more than those 2 things.

I normally hate tatoos and piercings, but I acknowledge they can sometimes look good when they are well done and represent something beautiful and exotic. So, banana.

My ankles aren't those that go all the way around.
They are tropical pics on the outside of each ankle.
Since I work in a law firm, they are placed so that they can be covered when necessary. I have some pics, I'll post here if I can find them.

The second one is a combination of several Spike had done previously. They were put together and touches added specifically for me.

They are sentimental to me. Permanent souvineers of a most beautiful place. And, just in case I never get to go back, I have a little piece of Maui with me.

Can anyone tell me how to make them smaller?

Both were taken right after the work was done, so there is some redness.

Today, 4 and 3 years later, respectively, they still look as bright and new as when I first got them.

Most people actually think they are stick ons because the colors are so vibrant.

I like earrings, eyebrow rings and navel rings on girls (depends on the girl). Having all of those at once would probably be excessive. A small tattoo on the hip of a woman can be attractive.

I have a tattoo on my left pectoral. It's pretty unique.

I hate them, but I'm somewhat used to them because so many of my friends have them. Tattooes are worse because they are permanent and large. They are ugly 90% of the time, and combine youthful taste and the skill of your typical tattoo artist and you have crap that will last a lifetime. A whole generation of porn has been ruined by tattooes / piercings.

My 15 year old daughter and I had a discussion on body piercings and I was happy to hear that she thought tongue, nose and eyebrow piercings were "GROSS". The conversation got around to belly button piercings and I said that out of all of them, that one would be the most acceptable. Needless to say, my daughter got home last saturday and proudly was sporting a belly button piercing. As I looked at my wife, she said that my daughter said that she had discussed it with me and that I had said that I had no problem with it. What was I supposed to say at that point? Man, they sure get sneaky earlier these days.

I don't plan on getting any tattoos, but I've been contemplating getting a labret piercing this summer.

Earrings on girls are cute. Piercings elsewhere are kinda ugly, but not important in the grand scheme of things. Same with tatoos. I don't have any piercings or tatoos and don't intend on getting any.

I had both ears pierced (one in each) a couple of years ago. I've never had a problem workwise. Older women definitely go for it and I get a positive reaction from them. (Since I turned 40 last year that's the age group I find interesting anyway )

My SO quite likes it but she was totally against a tattoo. I nearly had one done but am now glad I changed my mind.

The ear piercing was quite a laugh. It doesn't hurt but the piercing gun jammed on one ear and it took the guy and his assistant about 5 minutes to get it off me. As I am 6'6" and had gone on my motorbike, leather jacket and all, he was looking a bit nervous and absolutely refused to accept payment so I even got it done free .

An ex girlfriend had a navel piercing. I asked if it hurt and she replied "no, it stops being painful after about a year". Yeuch! No thanks.

Got one tattoo, upper right arm. It's Pan, the greek god, symbolizing mischief. A friend suggested it after we got quite drunk one night and I stapled him to a table when he passed out.

Quite like tattoos, as long as they are classy. For example, my friends tribal covering his entire upper arm - excellent. The 20x15cm Texas state flag on his back, less so

Piercings... No opinion. Can be good, depending on the girl. Somewhat partial to eyebrow rings, though.

I've got a scar running from some from around the middle of my pubes to a couple of centimetres obove my belly button, with a couple of thers in the same are, that's more then enough mutulation on my body.

even a small tattoo on the lower back or ancles I could live with,
A belly button piercing,mmm,ok, but that's it.
Always seems so primitive.

I've got my left ear lobe and upper cartilage pierced, along with a nipple ring. I'm planning in piercing my right eyebrow later this year.

I'm often found with henna tats during the summer. They fade away by the time school starts again.

Naval piercings on girls look really nice I think, am kind of undecided about tattoes. If it is tasteful and usually hidden, then not too bad.

Piercings on guys just look gay, in both ways.
