	Computer scientists and physics students Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

Gosh you can tell when you walk into a lecture room and there has been either a computer science or physics lecture...the room stinks awful.

Anyone other uni guys noticed this?

This is a troll, but it is also true. Compsci and physics kids are quite possibly the most pathetic people on the planet; horrible body odor is just one of the consequences of leading such a horrible "life". Poor bastards...

CS majors don't take very good care of themselves.

Well I hope I get to verify this soon (I hope to get in). But I must say that in open courses (open to anyone) and the people who took part last time in entrance exams wouldn't fit this. They were many hot chicks too! I'm telling this is the case here, but then again I don't know who got in, maybe all hot chicks failed too and smelly people got in

But compsci department here has techno society, chicks in there are always pretty much hot, and we have lots of chicks in every department here. I'm not saying 50/50, but I would guess maybe 35/65?

As much as I don't like Bodds, I think he's certainly correct in general.

I don't notice a bad odor from people here though (this is Canada, we have showers and deodorant), but the people in CS are generally socially awkward, dressed weird, and generally ****ed up.

There's only one hot girl that I know of in all of my CS lectures since I started, and only a few hot guys...

one of my friends roommates is a compsci physics double major, and stinks to high heaven. his resident assistant actually demanded that he take a shower once a week. how foul is that?

I don't know many people who take comsci or physics - my friend takes the former (at Birmingham) and his personal hygeine is good - but I don't know in a lot of cases.

I don't think we share rooms with student taking sciences too much at Swansea (aside from the Esso Lecture Theatre, which everyone has at least 1 lecture a week in, so they get to stare at the ESSO logo for an hour).

Oddly enough, companies just aren't interested in our prestigious institution of higher education.
