yes,
probably colwyn will be the marshall, so his spot is free,
and i think other front comander wanted to quit,
so we have two free spots

I don't want to lose my front position! I was only volentearing to do the Marshal spot "as well" while H tower is temporarily on leave if no one else stands up to be marshal.

The only vacent position is really the marshal.

I love being the Belorrussian front commander!!

the marshall should be a permanent position, but he could change afterwards if he wants

As I said before, you're not going to get any volunteers to be Marshal without the front command attached. HTower volunteered to do it after FMK vanished, and to my recollection, he was the only volunteer.

So I say if Colwyn is willing to assume the Marshal role (as well as his command) - and we have no other volunteers - then he should be entitled to do this.

I agree with Shaka, no one here wants to keep Colwyn from doing both. We just want to get some more people involved if possible. So if it comes down to it, I dont have a problem with Colwyn doing both.

But lets give it till tuesday as I suggested earlier. It is Easter weekend and a lot of people will be unavailable till late tonight or tomorrow. OK? All?

Hers an idea. It seems like finals and the end of the school years are cramping everyone's (or most everyones) ability to commit time.

Since Im loooooooooong out of school I could also do the Marshall duties until lets say 01 June or 10 June.

At that time either H Tower could resume the duties or someone else off for the summer could.

If thats agreeable, I would be willing to take on this responsibility for 6 weeks or so.

I've run thru two games of RF and the second one was better. Im no where near as good as some of you guys but can do the administrative duties of Marshall until the middle of June or so.

Im traveling till thursday so I guess you guys will make the decision while Im gone. Ill check back here when I get back.

heck, I thought I would have to give it up permanently and try to win the position back by election or coup or something like that. I should be back in action before June 1st, but handing the duty off for a month is fine by me.

Comrade conmcb25 as the day for H-tower's study leave(mechanised army tactics) approaches (tommorow) I am happy to accept your nomination as temporary marshal until H-towers return.

Unless another candidate steps forward H-tower will officialy confirm you to this shortly, he will play the final turn for this round, then post the new turn and then be over to you!

DBTS hasn't posted since the 20th, even with the server having been downt that's a while. I say conmcb25 gets the position, he's at least been playing civ2 recently, which is more than I know about DBTS.


It doesn't appear that curt or greeny will be finished playing their parts for a while, so I'm going to turn things over to conmcb25 right now. Congratulations
