Yep, with the colour decided, all that I need wait for is the map/save from Togas or whoever will put the finishing touches on it and then I can post the start position and first save...

I had suggested it be in a chat on April 27, time to be determined by the future president. As MWIA is the prez.... and as nobody had yet proposed anything other than that date.... I was hoping to get the initial city site placement arguement going and resolved in that chat. If MWIA decides to just start and post the save however, that is fine by me also. I would suggest at least moving the scout first as that will show the max amount of map prior to posting.

Hold on guys! The map is, I am told, in the last stages of preparation, and a screenshot will be posted shortly, for our first-city site debate. There is one last issue with trying to mod the game to give black as an option for civ colour, but the "black" that is there may be close enough. That's all for now - the screenshot will be posted ASAP, and we will start ASAP again. May 1st - I never thought I'd say this panag, but thank you - that is a good suggestion - a nice easy time to remember for future terms to start with. I personally will be out of the country again on the 26th (I've delayed it as much as possible), but that's what VPs are for and elections should be starting them for Term II.

Apologies to all for the delays, but with a custom map relying on one or two last polls and the loss of Settler I hope you can all forget it and get ready for turnchat number 1, Hopefully between the 1st and 4th of May!

thank you , the reason for putting the first of may is simple , its the first day of the month and many people are home or not working

The map is done. Won't take very long for us to change the color to black. BFM sent me a copy of the latest map so either one of us can send it to Mr.WIA on the start date, whenever it is.

Why not sooner than later? The first chat is relatively painless. Let's get it on!

I was thinking on the 27th because that is on a weekend. However, the first of may is a Thursday, and I will be working durring 8-6 Eastern Time. Oh well - with the screenshot up that is the biggest thing - and it appears we have a game plan started.
