Mixed drinks. Yep, this is a thread for women and er, um, "them."

If you want a real drink, try some Jack Daniels Single Barrel Reserve straight up, with a good, serious beer back. Franziskaner Hefe Weissen is a good whiskey chasing beer, so are lots of the Echt Kulmbacher ones.

The real question is what is the percentage of the mix..I know too many colleg parties were they try to extend the life of booze by mixing weak drinks. I say, 1 part booze, one part other!

Damn, Tennessee is in Europe now? The reason for the German beers is that the Germans still know how to make beer for men, unlike American sissy-beers that you could just as well dispense from baby bottles.

The Jack daniels was the rich man part...hey, don;t get me wrong, I love German beer, and think that it is vaslty superior to all large commercial American beers and only microbrews reach the same level. (I also find Guiness tasteless crap)

But we are talking mixed drinks...now if you put your jack in with the Weisse...

Imran, try real whiskey for a change. And Vodka is what you use to clean paint brushes, while Gin works equally well for your carburetor or the drain in your kitchen sink.

Real whiskey doesn't do it for me.

I use my Crown Royal for better things... like Whiskey Sours.

If I want to take a shot of something, I'll get some Goldschlager or Jagermeister. Why waste good whiskey?

Crown Royal isn't real whiskey. Real whiskey comes from Tennessee or Kentucky, and goes down real smooth - good sippin' whiskey, perfect with BBQ & blues on the stereo...

oh I like Tequila, but I drink that straight. So it's not really a mixed drink. Although I think they give you a slice of lime with it. I rarely do tequila shots though. I only do it, if a woman suggest we do tequila shots.
