depends. if the middle went too far left, i'd prolly end up more on the right. if the middle went too far right, i'd prolly end up more left.

the middle path is often the best path. why? because both the left and the right have good ideas.

the right tends to be better with the execution of ideals, while the left tends to be better with the purity of ideals.

unless you're willing to say that the fundamental basis for our government is immoral, i can't see that being true.

when you get down to it, the more extreme elements are often the ones at fault for screwing things up: they're always the revolutionaries. they're the robespierres. they're the lenins and stalins.

conservatives tend to be whiny little *****es about how a) the world is being ruined, and b) how liberals are stupid, annoying, slanderous, and evil.

there is a difference between unwilling to compromise, as many conservatives and liberals tend to be, and being willing to compromise but having many basic ideas clearly defined and strongly advocated, which is what some moderates tend to be.

of course, there are those moderates who just don't give a flip, but they're also the ones who usually don't vote.

and lancer, i have love for all people, left and right. it's just those who are farther left and farther right than me are flat-out wrong.

i have to admit, as a moderate there are some talk show people i can stand, and others who i can't. neal boortz in atlanta is pretty damn funny, and an aok guy, i suppose.
sean hannity? lost all respect for him when he did that funky butt lovin' with ann coulter, whose slanderous book slander seemed to be quite the sensation.
i haven't heard that limbaugh, guy, though. i don't intend on seeking him out, either.

I mean, I've seen what happens when one side dominates a forum - you get the feeling some of them just look around a bit and then kick back and start talking about, on the right side, how those ragheads should all be killed and how those fags are perverted and how those black people (they still don't feel secure enough to use the n-word, see) can only riot and whine, and on the left side, how all the Christians are brainless zombies and Bush personally ordered 9/11 and Robert Mugabe is just misunderstood. 'course, you occasionally get them here, too, but they either get banned or shunned out pretty quickly.
