	The BEST deodorant? Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

What's the best deodorant? The best smell?

I'm bored of my usual preference, Sergio Tacchinis Uomo series, so I'm looking for something new. I like fresh, but not too strong, I don't like very strong. Also it would be cool if it can hold more than 1 hour, if I get sweaty. I find Tacchini very good at working after heavy duties!

I also liked cK:s One series at one point..
I will pay special attention to Boris and red_jon's recommendations .

I use a variety of the Lynx deodorants. I think its called Axe in the rest of Europe.

I use Mennen's X-treme deodorants. There is probably better wrt smell, but it is great, since it resists high humidity and stays along for 48 hours.

English Leather Stick... Most women say GREAT things about the smell, and it provides pretty good protection as well.

Ming, What's that? I haven't heard about it? The name is English Leather?.. Does it smell little like leather?

Yes... it's called English Leather... It a very "manly" smell... and they are best known for making men's colone...

It doesn't smell fruity or sweet... just pure man.
I've never met a woman that doesn't like it. Many even ask me what it is. I started wearing it in college, and have never stopped. Why change a good thing

Thanks for recommending, I will test it. I've never heard about it, so I'm looking forward testing it.
Future recommendations are welcome too, it would be nice to test few labels there would be good competition.

No... Brut STINKS... women HATE it.

English leather is not so overpowering... just a good manly smell.

Just go to the store and take off the cap and give it a smell... It smells just like it does when you apply it.

Again... the women seem to love it... young and old

Alright man thanks for the tips I will check that out. Good to know it doesn't smell like Brut.

I used to have similar experiences with the Edge aftershave, every woman loved that stuff, I used to get a (good) reputation in the places I worked.

But then they changed the formula!

I think most deoderants blow, haven't been satisfied with one for ages.

I find myself wondering many times what to get, since I've tried so many and found them bad, or just neutral. Sometimes I detect good deodorants on other guys, but I'm too ashamed to ask what it is. I bet lots of guys wonder the same thing, what they should buy since they have lots of bad experiences. Then there are of course guys who don't simply care, or wear neutral ones.. but I like good deodorants. They make me feel comfortable, and they have effect on other people too. People like to be around a guy who smells good. So let's keep this thread going on..

I once had some Armani, though I'm not sure if it was that.. I've never heard of Issey Mayake, or anything simular (in case of spelling errors). I will check these out too along with english leather.

Hey that's a good site! I was searching for that kind of site but couldn't find any good ones.. their listing is good.

there are some universally liked smells yeah.. but the best would be something that you don't smell everyday, you know .. what makes people ask 'what's that?', something 'new' and all.. but I'll settle with known if I like it.

And as for an example, that tommy hilfiger set I didn't like.. I got it as a gift (my buddies and folks travel a lot, so they usually brings things like that as gifts from duty free shops).. but I didn't like it at all.

Yeah, people can recommend colognes as well.. smells for men! Always good to have a list..
I'm willing to invest a little to shampoos, deodorants and colognes.. Say I can go to $30 with deodorant. If more than that, it has to be pretty damn special! English Leather seems to be quite cheap, so that's a plus too.

Custom cologne? Does it really mean I can customize it and have something I really want?

Sounds pretty cool.. thats too expensive for me though.

I also liked Hugo by Hugo Boss for a while. I thought it was nice, but I got sick of that one too.

Yeah alot of people wear Boss so I could see it getting old.

I think the Calvin Klein ones are worn too much also.
