AKA The gameboy advance SP

DISCLAIMER: This topic is NOT about piracy. It's about a friend whos trying to develop gameboy games which is PERFECTLY LEGAL.

Anyway, as I just said, I have this friend who develops gameboy games (or at least is trying to) and his birthday is coming up, so I'm considering getting him some device so he can put his PERFECTLY LEGAL games on a PERFECTLY LEGAL cartridge.

However, I need to find the best one at a cheap price. 256M size, of course. And not from Hong Kong.

Can anyone help me?

I also have a friend who develops on GBA as a hobby. I could ask him where he found his cartridge (yes it is true, he really develops on GBA as a hobby - I don't have GBA-owning friends with pirated gamed)

He's French, and the only ROMs he has are some shoddy work done as an occasional hobby. Interesting to see when you know the guy, and the achievement it has been for him to learn all of this alone. But nil gameplay value (and I really mean nil : he didn't developed games)

I have contacted my friend. He has bought it last year or so to a company called "Lik-Sang", which has been sued and closed in the meantime (he bought it in France).

I can't help you any further

However, for development, it is still possible to connect your GBA to your PC through a cable. The total ROM's size cannot exceed the GBA's RAM (256 k)
