	USJ Comes to the Aid of an Ally Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

The Atheist Empire is going to declare war agains the Catholic Confederation. In the Catholic Confederation we have an ally that has stood by us ever since they existed, and we are now in the process of the largest call up of our forces in our entire history as a nation.
This is an unprovoked attack against one of our allies and we are coming to their defense.

We understand if the nations of Apolyton want no part in this, but we must help our allies in their time of need.
We ask any nations here to help in their defense, as the Atheist Empire is a threat to the entire world, one that we cannot simply ignore.

Can you provide details. While I will enter the battle on neither side at the moment, I would like to know what the details are, so I can make an informed decision as to how to try to negociate this. Ideologically I would want the Atheists to win, but if they are the aggressor, then of course I wil not support them.

This is an unprovoked attack. They simply want to destroy all religion and that is why they are attacking. So far no threads, but you can check their regional board, its all there. I dont think they will negociate.

Meanwhile, the Catholic Confederation freely admit their murder of "heretics" and a recent Inquisition on their own regional board. If they're attacked for killing their own citizens, quite frankly, they've asked for it.

The Kingdom of Wine is populated by 95% by Catholic (like RL Italy), and is therefore very alarmed by the threat of an Atheist Empire declaring war on other Catholic nations, and the population is pressing the government to issue support to the Catholic Federation.

It is strange how Wine is on one side attacked by a Catholic Fundamentalist Terrorist Organization, and on the other side we might find ourselves at war in order to defend our Catholic culture, and our right to be follower of that religion.

I came to the region of Apolyton to inform you of the current events plaguing our region and world. The Catholic Confederation has begun "cleansing" of the freethinkers in their lands, and it doesn't appear that we're getting a fair hand in with many of these lands.

The Atheist Empire cannot sit back and let this continue, for we do not see people in ethnicity, religion, or political views; but we do see our like-minds being destroyed.

This, combined with threats upon our people to be converted, is why the Atheist Empire is on the brink of war. I hope you see through the double-speak being espouted by the Catholic Confederation.

They were revelling in the blood of the "heretics" until they were threatened, then disavowed any knowledge that they helped Belem. I should know, I watched it all happen.

So we ask your help, in any form, neutrality, or military assistance in putting and end to this double-speaking, backstabbing region.

Only one nation has commited any crimes against humanity, that nation is Belem, which was created a short while ago(3 days ago). Just arround the time when the nation Thalami was talking about war.

Also the CC region we expect is going to kick Belem out of their region.

Is this treaty not a defensive one? If so, since no signer of the treaty was attacked, I cannot see how it can be invoked.

Then we see no resaon to interefere at this time. Especially as the nation is so small and can be easily deat with without any intervention from and Apolyton member nation.

If this is indeed true, the attack cannot be said to be "unprovoked."

So far no fighting has broken out, and we believe our carriers have detered them some. THe Catholic Confederation has never made any offensive moves against the Atheist Empire. This is an unprovoked attack, and one of our allies is in that region, we are requied to come to their aid.

It seems as if Apolyton wishes to remain isolated fromt he rest of the world, and Jackson understand this. But you cannot hide from the world forever.

No, we can't. If any of them attack us, we will retaliate. Moreover, we do not wish to remain isolated, but we do not see either side as 'right'. The CC are trying to promote and push Catholicism, something I would be against (I hate forced religion, or indoctrination, with a passion) but the Atheist Empire have acted aggressively, which is also not good. That is why Akiria and Zetaris will remain neutral.

Using convert missions and such in attempts to "convert" the citizens of other countries is plain and simple political agitation. The Dominion of Noosland also considers the carrying out of a reign of terror against atheists a form of religious persecution, it should be condemned with the strongest terms.

We are happy to say that war has not broken out so far. It seems the Atheist Empire is big on words but not actions.
We strongly believe that with cooler heads we can peacefully end this conflict with no blood shed on etheir side.

The USJ is simply coming to the aid of an ally, The Commonwealth of Oakeshottland, who does hold religious freedom highly and has done nothing to the Atheist Empire to deserve this treament from them. As for the rest of the CC region we cannot say much about them, since we do not have close ties with the rest of the nations there. But again what they do is up to them, allthough we oppose such actions and try our best to stop them. Also anther atheist region, ICV region has done even worse then this, yet the CC region and others never went to war with them and we were able to stop the execution of their religious prisoners with out bloodshed.

USJ forces are now pulling out of CC region, but a small number will remain in The Commonwealth of Oakeshottland to make sure the peace stays for a long time. One 5 Division of troops will stay behind along with 4 aircraft carriers, which now have a home port their now. We will start constructing base housing so that the families of the troops can live there.

The rest are now coming home, and all of Jackson will welcome them back, as they stoped a war from even starting without a shot fired.
