Customizing Tribe Name and City Names Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

Regarding Civ2 and CivNet?
Is it possible to change one of the civ's name properties to be my favorite name, along with changing the list of city names to my favorites? For example, is it possible to change the French to the, say, Texans, and the city name list to a list of cities in Texas?

Yes for Civ2 anyway.
The cities are in cities.txt and the leaders are in rules.txt

In Civ2 you can also edit the names of an active game or scenario via:
> cheat menu > edit king
