I'm looking at moving to california (san diego to be precise) in a few weeks to be with my girlfriend this summer. Perhaps this thread could be turned into a pros/cons of california thread.

I used to be stationed there at 32nd Street, now if he wants prostitutes, then by all means, go to El Cajon.

I lived in Spring valley, Lemon Grove, Point Loma, and National City at various times.

I know the town quite well..... around the trolley anyway, since I spent most of my time drinking.

Funny, but highly inaccurate.

Crime in the NE is much worse than here.

Immigration is a federal problem, not a California problem.

California has some of the toughest tax-raising laws in the nation--e.g. a 2/3 vote of both houses of the Legislature is needed to raise taxes. That's one of the reasons California has the highest deficient in the nation.

But other than that, very funny.

I don't know if you know it or not, but they are putting out commemorative quarters in the US for every state. Each coin has a theme for their state.
