	Problems with the patch Enter the AD-FREE zone

HI,

I have a BIG problem,
because now I have onece again installed CTP2 scince it came out,
after that i wanted to patch it,

BUT now when i come into the installation-window of the patch, i click on germen and then the program searches the for game, when it does that, suddenly windows says "The program ctp....exe has coused an error, and has to be shut down"

What do you mean is the problem why it doesn't work?

(Yesterday i installed and patched it sucsessfully at a other PC)

What operating system are you using? Sounds like a strange new error.

Anyway if you cant get the patch installer working just use the patch in zip form, link below.

I have once installed CtP2 on my second HDD named D:, it was impossible to update with the 1.11 patch because the patch installer was looking for files in my C: HDD and refused to install when I "manually" browsed for the location of the CtP2 folder.

If your problem is the same as mine, you can solve it by installing CtP2 on your C: HDD... Maquiladora's solution sounds better though...

Well i have Win 2000 professional.

I will try the Zip file when i am at home (Nsae is at school).

Thank you the problem you mentioned could be the problem, but i haven't enough space on my second partition.

I have Win 2000 Pro (updated with the SP3) on my computer myself. I have noticed that the installation process of CtP2 itself is sometimes not completed. The installation is aborted close to the end without any warning or message indicating an error. I have already encoutered the problem and I had to install the game again until it seemed good, unfortunately I can't remember how I knew the process was completed... I might be wrong but I think the installer asked me to install a version of DirectX...
