	Intersite Demogame Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

Well, this save bug sucks the BIG HAIRY ONE, although I think that the game could be entirely re-created as a scenario if somone (cough::Firaxis::cough) were up for it.

In the meantime, and to make sure everyone gets their DG fix, I suggest that we focus on the Intersite game.

I'm going to be VERY annoyed if all the effort we've put into this game is wiped out because of the corrupted save file. I can only imagine how those who spent more time on it than I did feel (Nathan, Sir Ralph, NYE).

Have we heard anything from Firaxis? NYE was going to contact them, right?

Anyway, I never did get around to joining the intersite game. Is 'poly doing ok?

NYE e-mailed them the save yesterday I think. That was Sunday. Is today a bank holiday in North America? - it is in the UK. If so, I doubt there's any chance we'll get a response before tomorrow, probably later in the week.

spoiler(highlight to read): I'm lurking there, Dominae and NYE are very active. 'Poly seems to be doing OK. There are some worries about being attack by an Immortal rush (sound familiar?) and there is a lot of Jungle around, but it seems mostly under control. Time will tell, however, as we've found out things can change very quickly.

Theseus: and there's the new SPDG too. They're playing Deity, as the Vikings, and the Ottomans declared war on the 2nd turnchat. This should be interesting.

spoiler(highlight to read): Arrian: not so well. I fear that the 'Poly team has a below-average start (I would have probably restarted if I got that start on an SP game on Emperor or Deity) and like us, they are unlucky enough to get the Persians as one of their immediate neighbours. They've just found out that the Persians (CDG) have iron right next to their capitol, already have one immortal and are stockpiling cash. There are lots of hardworking members there though, and most of them seem to be doing a great job.

No holiday today. I hpoe they can at least shoot a message saying they're looking at it. I hope it doesn't sit in a (virtual) pile of emails for a week.

It sucks for everyone, but the time put in by NYE, SR and NB was staggering, and if all for not....


Hey, we did have the highest score when lego played their turn, so technically

not that thats satisfying at all, it would be a funny tongue in cheek thread on the main forum that could lighten the mood.

I have sent the last Vox save for Lego to Firaxis. There are no gaurantees. I think they are very busy at the moment. I am waiting to hear back from them.
