	I have seen the light of HIGH SPEED INTERNET! Support Apolyton, buy GURPS/ Alpha Centauri

After a storm surge fried me computer's modem, I decided to take the oppurtunity and go to cable internet before my lazy ass could decide against it. Taking the initiative, I got a new modem, access, LAN card, and installed it all, and am now surfing at near the speed of curdled milk.

(Page Loading Time goes down from about 225 to 30 )

The problem is that you get used to it and don't find it al fast anymore after a couple of months

I also have cable but I'm sure that it’s different from what you have. I pay approximately 25 EUR per month and have download speed of 20kB and upload of 3,5kB.
I was wondering what you are paying and what you'r getting in your countries.

I have a 1mb connection ( which basically means 130kb/s downloads ) and I get that for the princely sum of £35 a month.

Bit expensive now that my housem8 isn't paying for half but it's definitely worth it when you get a 100mb file in just 14 minutes

( Traffic at night is only counted halve)
