	The Upgrade bug Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Well after finally getting fed up of playing on small map games with few AI so the game wasnt THAT slow i decided to Upgrade my computer - since my old AMD K6-2 500 with 120mb of Ram just wasnt doing it!!

So I got me Athlon XP 2200+ with 512DDR ram and thought it would take anything civ threw at it. When i loaded it true enough it was very fast, but my main problem is the damn scroll speed, which even on slow is too fast!!, and then the Unit animations, the slow way they walk accross to the next tile is driving me Insane
Anyone else had such problems?

Seems like you have some animations preferences activated. I think you can adjust the scroll speed as well, but am not sure of this. Maybe you can try to install Mouseware from Logitech; I find it great, also for non-Logitech mice.

Otherwise, you should be noticing a better performance on big maps! But it still takes time when the world get developed on a 256*256 map... Took me about 30 minutes on a K7-750 and now it's 5-15 with my XP2500
