For the past 20 years, Provost Hercules has held the post of Governor of Chiron. We at Morgan Industries supported the Provost in that bid. Through political back channels, the Smurfs expressed very strong misgivings about the election result and Morgan Industries part in it. It appears now that they had correctly surmised a pending misused of the office of Governor, to their detriment.

The University-Smurf War that soon followed was horrific. The Smurfs were annihilated, and massive global warming resulted from the fall-out.

While it is true that the University did achieve a research breakthrough thereafter, which gave the council the ability to reverse the effects of global warming, it was not until countless hundreds of thousands of souls were lost to massive flooding. This is not success story, and it is time for a change. To that end, my proposal is to elect a new Planetary Governor.

It is interesting to note that Morgan Industries turned a blind eye to global atrocities (the Hobbits continuous use of the X gas weapon). That says a lot for their humanitariarn perspective.

Provost, as you can see from the above quoted passage, Morgan Industries found the Smurfs actions justified. No blind eye was caste. We here at Morgan Industries pride ourselves on running a green economy. We fight limited wars, as need be. Case in point; we are expecting Miriam to surrender to us within the next decade, at which point most of her bases will be returned to her as she becomes a new Pactmate.

As my 1st act as your new Governor, I have proposed to the council to increase solar shade. This measure should insure a continued drop in sea level. The voting so far has been Sister Miriam yea, and Governor Morgan yea.

I am sure that, had it not been for his untimely demise, Poppa Hobbes of the Smurfs would have voted yea as well. As the well-being of planet now falls to me, as Governor, I will do everything necessary to fulfill this grave and awesome responsibility.

I have designated a rallying point southwest of Hawaii, at grid 115, 64. I plan to move equipment there within the next 3-4 years that will allow me to construct a combat-base / air-base on a nearby island just off the Usurper northern coastline. From there I plan to launch the final invasion. You are welcome to use this facility as you see fit during the upcomming battle.

A note of caution, foreman, I have spotted some 1-<5>-1 elite Usurper troopers in close proximity to one of your liberated Beilever bases.

I hope that this rallying point also means that the current war with Herc is over, dear Morgans. I look forward to working with you against the alien threat but hope that this base won't also be used against Herc if hostilities have continued there.

I too have noticed the threat of those 1-<5>-1 units and am hoping to aim toward new technologies soon which may allow me to combat them better.
